I have found out that you are hotter than the sun;
Warm lights, whispering at night, and whistling in the heights.
Yellow surrounds you all over as you thought it was fun,
With infrared cameras around, I can see through the blinds.

How funny is it if I tell you I like you?
Don't believe me? Neither can I.
You're that special someone I can't afford to lose—
I'll miss our pretty nights and your lap where I lie.

Like ultraviolet rays,
It's my desire for you to penetrate through my skin.
All our what ifs, what nots, and mays
Goes away with one kiss; how I love that feeling.

Although struggling with a crown on my head,
You went with me still, instead.
Didn't know you felt the same for me.
How could I know? It was me who couldn't see.

Hotter than the sun and hotter than the stars;
Degrees go up when you're with me.
May reality be as harsh,
It's still us against the world; you and me.

NOTE

For the context of this one, I decided to challenge myself where I asked my friends to give me random words that will be mentioned in the poem. Those words are sun, infrared, and ultraviolet rays.

This poem is also inspired by the Swedish series Young Royals, told through Wilhelm's point of view.
