Warren looked to Lacey and frowned. "Well? Who did it?" He asked as he pulled her against him.

Lacey handed him the photo and he frowned. "Her? She did it?" He questioned. "She's the one that stabbed my daughter?"

Lacey nodded. "Yeah. The proof is right there. So what do we do now?" She said.

"We?"

"Lexie is my best friend. Do you really think I'm going to let verity get away with this?" Lacey said as she looked to him.

Warren smirked as he looked to her. He knew how they were good. And they were going to make Verity pay for what she had done. "Let's go."

Sami sat by Lexies beside. He heard her grumbling and frowned. "Lex. Wake up baby," he said as he took her hand. He smiled. "That's it. Come on. Open your eyes for me baby."

Lexie's eyes opened. She looked around in confusion. She shook her head as a nurse came in and took out the tube helping her breathe.

Lexie groaned and looked to Sami. "What happened?" She asked with a croaky voice.

Sami smiled and held her hand. He looked to her. "You were stabbed baby. They don't know who did it. But they're trying to find out who it was," he told her. He sighed. "Did this have anything to do with your dad?" He asked.

Lexie frowned. She shook her head. "No. My dad wasn't behind this. He's settled down. It was.. I can't remember who it was. It was a woman. She said I needed to pay for what happened. I don't know who could have done it," she told him.

Sami sighed and nodded. He couldn't help but feel like it had something to do with Warren. And he wanted to get Warren out of Lexie's life.

Lexie looked up as Lacey walked into the room. She smiled. "Hey. You're a sight for sore eyes," she said.

Lacey smiled to her. "How are you feeling?" She asked as she sat with her.

Lexie shrugged. "Confused more than anything. Like who could have done this? Have I upset someone that bad they want me dead?" She said.

Lacey sighed and smiled. "I know who did this. Your dad is going to deal with it," she told her.

"Who?"

"It was Verity. I don't know why she did it. But she won't get away with it. I promise you," Lacey told her as she smiled.

Lexie frowned. "Why would she do this?"

"She's in love with Sami. And she's a little jealous that he chose you," Lacey told her.

Lexie didn't know what to think. Her head was an absolute mess. Not knowing how to feel. "So this all happened because someone is jealous?"

"Seemingly. She won't get away with it," Lacey told her.

Lexie looked up as her dad walked in. She smiled. "Hey dad," she said as she looked to him.

"Hiya darling. You okay?"

"Apart from being stabbed, I'm okay. Lacey told me it was Verity."

"It was."

Lexie nodded and sighed. "I want her to pay for what she's done. For what she's taken from me," she said as she looked to her dad.

Warren frowned. But nodded. He had no idea how Lexie was about to turn down a dark path with her need for revenge.
