Lexie sighed to herself as she woke up to knocking at the flat door. She groaned to herself as she ran a hand through her hair as she stood up and walked to the door.
She answered it and groaned as she saw Sami. She looked to him and sighed as she walked back into the flat
"what do you want Sami, it's early and I should be sleeping" she said as he looked to her and sighed "I need to talk to you, please" he said as she nodded. He walked into the flat after her and smiled
"look I know that you hate me and that you are angry at me right now and I am sorry okay, I am. I know I messed up with you and verity" he said as Lexie looked to him and glared
"don't you dare, don't mention her name in my flat Sami. You need to come here and clear yourself because you feel second for putting me second best after all that we have been through I am still second best to you. So tell me why you came here at seven in the morning just to say you are sorry, after all these years of sleeping together" Lexie asked as Sami looked to her and sighed
"your not second best, you never were and you never will be" Sami said as he walked off as Lexie looked after him and groaned in frustration

Lexie walked through the village and smiled as she walked into Lacey who looked to her and smiled "are you okay? You look like crap" Lacey asked as Lexie looked to her and sighed
"I guess, I don't know. My head is a mess. Sami and I had a fight over verity, over everything. I just need to clear my head. He said I'm not second best I really don't know" lexie said as Lacey looked to her and smiled
"you and him are so stubborn" Lacey said as Lexie looked to her and smiled
"I don't know what you mean, I know what I feel over him and he doesn't feel the same so what am I meant to do lace. Still have sex with him over it all and let him end up breaking my heart as I know he will, Sami has already broke me but I won't let him do it to me completely I just can't do it" Lexie said as Lacey looked to her and smiled as she pulled her into a hug and smiled
"it's going to be okay I promise but you just need to admit how you feel" Lacey said as Lexie nodded knowing she wasn't prepared to do that

Lexie got to Sami and sighed as she stood waiting outside as he answered the door. She looked to him and sighed
"we need to talk" she said as he nodded. He pulled her close as she looked to him and sighed
"this, is. It's a mess but I love you and I really don't want to lose you. You mean everything to me" Lexie said as he pulled her close and kissed her passionately as she wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked
"I love you too" Sami said unaware how it wasn't going to be simple for either of them
