Third-person's POV

"Huh." A small huff broke the silence of the shop. "I am so tired today," The said boy huffed coz it was the weekend and he was at the bookstore for the full day and didn't get to breathe for a second.

He tiredly settled himself on the chair grabbing his refreshing lemon soda and emptying it in a few gulps. "Ha, finally it's 5," he said glancing at the wall clock. He turned towards the window after hearing the sound of rain striking the glass window.

"Beautiful," Porchay has a particular fondness for rain. He isn't sure why, but he craves it, the earthy aroma, the lush greenery. It cleanses the air, and it breathes life into the world.

His attention was caught by the sound of the television, he watched as a lady in her 30's was sitting elegantly on a couch and there was a man across the coffee table sitting elegantly like a prince like he owned the place.

It was an interview with a musician. It is what porchay thought. His eyes darted to the male on the screen. The male doesn't seem to be interested in the interview as his face doesn't show any irritation.

But exasperation.

"-Well, let it aside there has been talking that our great musician and businessman, Mr Niran has been going out a lot recently, is there any reason?" The lady squinted her eyes.

The male just chuckled lightly to ease his demeanor. "There was also a rumour saying that M'Sons are trying to build a relationship with my company and they even sent a small message, yeah and what was the name u-" He acts to thinks.

"Y-yeah, it's all just public sayings, I can reassure you." The lady seemed to be panicked, to which the said male smirked in victory.

They ended the show trying to cover up the tantrum the male threw.

"I've never seen this man before but why were they saying he is famous?" With that, he shrugged and watched the outsides, the cars passing by, the kids with their friends. Everything was peaceful, and this is what porchay always wished to have a peaceful life.

He sat in silence for a few moments when it was interrupted by the bell. A Deja Vu feeling hit him. He turned to face the person who had disturbed the peaceful silence.

The same man from a week ago, what was the book, uhh-qi-uh right 1Q84. Chay thought and stood up to greet the man the man still had his mask on and his eyes met porchay,

Porchay froze as he could feel the anger and a fierce look in his dark orbs. He gulped down the fear and put on a polite smile.

"Welcome, sir. How can I assist you?" he inquired.

"I visited last week in search of the book 1Q84, but it was out of stock. Do you have it now?" the man inquired in a deep voice.

"Ah, yes, we do. Let me retrieve it for you," he replied, walking to the shelf and picking up the book.

"Here you go," he said, handing him the book, which delved into the realms of time travel.

"I presume you have an interest in parallel universes and time travel," Porchay remarked.

"None of your concern." But the man just snarled at him and left the place after paying.

"Arrogant bastard." He retorted annoyingly.

After doing his shift, he decided to go home coz it was already 6 pm and he wanted to have some rest.

"I am leaving." He bid his bye to the owner, but the old man stopped him.

"Kiddo, it's raining outside you will catch a cold while riding your bike. Let me drop you." Concern was lacing in his voice.

Porchay gave a small smile. "Don't worry sir, I will be fine you don't have to trouble yourself and it's only a few blocks away."
