I clicked the sample on the left of my pc screen to play it, the sound rang through my expensive noise canceling headphone and immediately I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.

I took the sample and dragged it across the screen with a click of my mouse and rested it near the end of the song.

I scrolled all the way back to the beginning and added my producer tag in the beginning before hitting play at the beat I had just finished began to play.

It was perfect, just how I wanted it to be.

'Galagirl productions'

My producer tag just completely topped it off, I always add it last to verify a beat is finished, as for the name galagirl I'll tell you, it originally was because when I was younger I used to love going to this small arcade by my house.

Of course, it was galaga. I swear you couldn't get me away from that shit, it was the most fun thing ever to little me and I had gained that nickname from the employees that always saw me playing in there after school every day.

I had one of the highest scores on the game too and my user name was of course, galagirl.

Though my passion has changed I thought the name was cool enough to keep.

The beat played through my ears and I just knew I had to release this one, probably as a single, I think it deserves its own spotlight since I've had it in drafts for like a year and finally finished it.

A discord notification??

I haven't used discord in quite a bit, usually just for calls with my friends when we play games but not exactly for messaging unless In our group chat, but the group chat had a different sound when it had a notif.

My expression turned to one of confusion as I switched my tab, the notification I saw confused me even more.

Who is yumi?

And why did I even have them friended, I don't remember adding this person at all.

I clicked on the notification and opened it, the message almost made my jaw pop off with the way it fell and my hand rose to cover my mouth.

Author here, new story with a better plot cus the other ones plot isn't very sorted out and it's kinda all over the place but this one has a good plot yall, also I would imagine y/n's beats to be compared to 9lives, luci4, suicideboys, whatsaheart, bladee, jnhygs, and Ecco2k.
