In the distance we found an old shed as we slowly crept inside to see an old box. Before we could open it, we saw a mysterious creature hauling towards us.
"RUN",said Jason Marcus grabbed the box and started running across the woods. Finally, after what looked like a mile of countless running we found the school gate slowly tripping over the dark brown branches.
"Is it just me or am I hallucinating?"
"What was that back there? "said Marcus.
We all headed back to the secret base under Mr. Tattins classroom. We took out a sketch book and a notepad immediately.
"What was that creature "said Lise
"What's in this box" said Jack
"We need to focus on the box first. Maybe it'll have some clues to where my smartwatch is."
We tried to open the box. But it was shut. "Why won't it budge" said Marcus fiercely "because it's locked" said Melissa
"Wait I think I know how to open it" said Jason.
"My grandpa taught me how to unlock stuff with just a pin"
"I have a pin" said Lise "okay here goes nothing."
Jason said as he lockpicks the box "and... there we go '' said Jason as he opens the box feeling a chill down his throat and the air leaves the room.
"It's a clue" said Jason.
"A clue?" said Marcus
"What does it say?" said Jack
"It says'' Jason starts to read "that the smartwatch box was hanging on the fence when the smartwatch fell out."
"Wait a minute I think I know where the smartwatch is..", said Marcus. As he rushes up the stairs to the fence he jumps over and looks near the corner of the fence on the ground.
"I FOUND IT!" shouted Marcus in excitement.
Marcus rushed to the secret Lair and shouted "I FOUND IT!''
Again everybody cheered in excitement. After the mysterious six started sketching as each member would describe what they saw in the old shed. After the sketch was finished the mysterious six still could not piece together what that creature was. Jason looked in the box a second time to see a broken Nintendo switch.
"Guys come over" said Jason Everybody headed to Jason
"What's up" said Marcus
"Do you guys know why there's a broken Nintendo switch in the box by any chance?" said Jason
"Woah whatever that creature is it's not a dog that's for sure." said Marcus
"Obviously" said Melissa
(I know) Marcus thought to himself. "It's not human either."
