"Leave me, I beg you," the disgusting old hag whimpered, struggling to escape my iron grasp. His eyes were wide with terror, his voice trembling with desperation. "You have betrayed me, the Devil," I hissed, my voice dripping with malice. "Now, you shall burn in hell with your wretched wife."
I gave a nod to my brother and right-hand man, Vihaan. Without hesitation, a deafening gunshot shattered the silence. In an instant, two bodies lay limp in a growing pool of blood, their lifeless eyes staring blankly into the abyss.
I smirked at the sight of them. Suddenly, the door to the living room creaked open, and she entered. Her face was a mask of emotionless calm, her eyes cold and calculating as she tried to make sense of the scene before her. Clinging to her side was her little sister, peering from behind her, wide-eyed and trembling, as she took in the sight of their parents' limp bodies sprawled in a pool of blood.
"Who are you three men, and what are you doing in my house?" she asked, her voice eerily unfazed despite the lifeless body of her father sprawled before her. Her cold, emotionless eyes portraying no hint of fear or sorrow, crashed with mine.
"Your parents betrayed their Don, and hence they paid for their acts," my youngest brother, Rohan, explained. Our intense eyelock was broken. She cast a quick glance at their bodies before gently sending her sister deeper into the house. Then, with a quiet defiance, she sat in front of me, daring to meet my cold eyes.
"Now what do you want from me after killing him, huh?" she challenged, her voice steady and unwavering.
I was intrigued by how she stood - strong and bold, unfazed by the presence of the most ruthless mafia don. "I am Amrit Singh Agnivanshi," I introduced myself, my voice low and menacing. "I am the reckoning your parents feared, and now, their betrayal is your burden to bear."
"My name is Vaishnavi Sharma," she stated firmly before meeting my gaze with unyielding determination.
"What do you want?" she asked, her voice steady and defiant.
I gazed at her, then motioned for both my brothers to leave us alone. The room fell silent, the tension thick in the air.
"I wish for you, love," I said slowly, savoring each word. "To marry me."
