Aj woke up the next morning still wearing Nikos zip up. He tries not to blush thinking about what had happened the night before. Niko had walked him home, for absolutely no reason. Chunkz, Sharky and Kenny had left a little earlier, leaving Niko and Aj alone. Aj had wanted to go with them but the taxi only had space for 3 people. Niko and Aj had ended up walking the whole way from the town centre to Ajs house, just talking about random things. When they got to Saff's Aj had told Niko it was okay, that he could walk home himself. It was only like 10 minutes in the opposite direction anyways, but Niko had claimed a 'pretty boy like you shouldn't be walking alone at night'. Yeah, may have ruined the mood a little. Aj was starting to warm up to Niko, behind the 'bad boy' façade he was sweet, he supposes.
Aj fixes himself up and hangs the zip up by the door, not wanting his parents, if they were even there, to question anything. He walks down to the living room to see two of his sisters sat watching Tv.
"Hey Aje," Suhaila says not looking away from the screen. Suhaila was the oldest of the 5 kids, she had just finished Uni and was helping their father with his business. Aj was pretty close with her but he would definitely say he's closest with Amiira. Amiira was currently in uni, and was here before it started up again in October. She was a year or so older than him, and he had missed her when She had gone. She was the only one who understood him, and he knows he could tell her anything. She didn't believe in any of their parents teachings, and AJ is convinced that she was the least favourite. But she didn't mind. She claimed that she would rather be the least favourite and have no pressures than be the favourite and have to deal with their parents. Fair play to her.
Amiira was like a girl version of Aj. Same curls, except longer, cascading down her back to her hips, brown eyes, which were naturally water-lined, and fair skin. She had similar humour to Aj's, always giggling and laughing, unlike their parents. And surprisingly, Aj's height. Suhaila on the other hand was the opposite. She had long fair hair, a lightish brown with little curls at the end. She was tall and although could take a few jokes here and there was serious compared to her siblings. Her eyes were a hazel-green, taken from her grandpa.
"Wheres Mumma?" Aj asks, not even bothering to ask about his father.
"She left this morning, she went to join Baba in where did she say, I don't know, some business trip,"
"Are you even surprised," Amiira mutters, getting a knock in the ribs from Suhaila, "What?! Im not wrong."
"And Maya and Lana?"
"Play room with Ada,"
Adana was their baby sitter, well childminder. She was also Kenny's mum. After Chunkz had grown up, she looked for a new job and got referred to AJ's family. She was grateful to still be so close to home, and she was very sweet. She looked after Maya and Lana during the day and took them to school, put them to bed and made them dinner when their parents were away. AJ was happy Ada was their nanny as he'd basically grown up with her as his own, being at Chunkz's house all the time, and knew how nice and kind she truly was. He wouldn't want his sisters with anyone else.
"Mhm," AJ nods, before walking to the kitchen.
He turns on the kettle, before running upstairs to re-wear the zip-up. He returns and grabs a cup of tea and a freshly made brioche, returning to the living room to join his sisters.
He catches up with them, whilst eating his breakfast.
"When did you get a new zip up Aj?"
"Uhm," Aj doesn't know what to say, he can't say it belonged to some poor boy down town could he? He knew Suhaila would have something to say, "Its uhm, its Sharkys, he leant it to me yesterday. It worked with my outfit,"
