CourtlandThe vibrant city of New York, there lived a talented rapper named Sha Ek. Known for his electrifying performances and clever wordplay, Sha Ek had gained quite a reputation in the music industry. However, his personal life was far from smooth sailing.
Sha Ek had a baby mom named Mariah, with whom he had a beautiful daughter named Franny. Franny, at the tender age of two, was the apple of their eyes. Despite their differences and the challenges they faced, Sha Ek and Mariah shared a deep bond as parents.
One fateful night, Ek found himself feeling lost and overwhelmed. He had been partying and indulging in substances that left him feeling high as a kite. In his vulnerable state, he yearned for companionship and reached out to Mariah for solace.
Mariah, who had learned to be cautious with Ek's impulsive behavior, hesitated before accepting his call. She knew that being around him when he was in such a state would be challenging. However, her compassion and concern for him won over, and she reluctantly agreed to let him come over to her house.
As Sha Ek stumbled into Mariah's home, he was greeted with mixed emotions. Mariah's heart ached for him, seeing the turmoil he was going through, but she also wanted to protect herself and their daughter from his unpredictable behavior. Despite her reservations, Mariah understood that sometimes people needed support, even if they didn't always deserve it.
Together, Sha Ek and Mariah spent the night talking, reminiscing about their shared past, and reflecting on their individual journeys. They laughed, they cried, and they confronted the realities of their complicated relationship. In that vulnerable moment, they found solace in each other's presence, even if it was just for a fleeting moment.
"Mariah." He whispered.
"Yea?"
"Why do you put up with all my bullshit?" He questioned looking up from her lap to face her.
Mariah paused before giving an answer, "You are my baby dad and even though we aren't together I still love you and I don't wanna see you go down the wrong path again because the older Franny gets the more she'll be effected by your actions." She explained.
Chalim stayed quite taking in her words and her feelings that she just expressed.
"Ion mean to do the shit I do, it's just the way I run my life and I've come to far to change how I live." He says truthfully.
"You can though, you can change you just don't want too." Mariah added.
"Niggas gon say I'm pussy if I start changing, like I'm not bout that life type shit." He said rubbing his hand along his face.
"You know you ain't pussy, and you not pussy for changing your life for your daughter." Mariah spoke.
Ek stayed quit and went thought about Mariah's words and then about Franny's life and how his lifestyle could ruin it even endanger her and her future life.
From this day forward Ek always kept Mariah's words in his head whenever he did anything he thought about how his daughter could be affected and how his actions might hurt her vowing to never let that happen.
