Chapter 2

Layla p.o.v

     I woke up a bit early, so I decided to take a morning walk because the place we were staying at stunk of garlic. My brother may like all this vampire crap but, I couldn't care less about it.

      I made sure to grab my camera to document. While I was walking, I came across some ruins of broken old castles and catacombs, which caught my attention.

     I took my camera out, at just the right angle, just as the sun was fully setting, getting some great shots to print out when I get home from this trip. 

  I took a few more pictures, then headed back to the castle, I was walking pass the room my brother was in, mom walked out, "Breakfast is ready if you're hungry, " She said to me before walking off, I simply just nodded.

 Mom knows I skip breakfast, she's okay with it as long as I eat later. 

Walking pass my brothers room, I could have sworn I heard another voice, he came walking out of the room a little more excited than he was when we first got here.

 I peeked in but nothing seems out of the ordinary, even for him. I shrugged it off, going back to my room. I didn't stay in bed long. I never really stay in one spot for long. 

I decided to explore the castle, my brother came running back into his room with a large roll of aluminon foil. "Do I want to know, " I asked, he paused for a second, "Do you? "He asked, reversing the question back to me.

"Maybe later, I'm going to do a bit of exploring and documenting. despite this vacation not being the best, it does have some nice ruins and history, " I commented, walking away, snapping pictures as I explore throughout the castle. 

I found my way to the side of the castle, after being cornered by the odd German couple. I was walking pass the stables when I heard a commotion going on inside, I let my camera hung around my neck, opening the door. What I saw, left me in utter shock.
