Chapter 5

Layla p.o.v

My brother went falling, but Luckly he grabbed onto Rudolph feet, "hey, remember me the kid who can't fly, you almost dropped me, " My brother complained.

My brother was being his stubborn self and of course he made a point. And I followed, because I was not going to let him go alone. 

Rudolph disappeared, while my brother stayed in the gargoyle mouth, and I hovered by him. "This is starting to become an interesting vacation, "I commented to my brother who replied back, "Way better than I have ever imagined. I hope we never leave. "

"We will have to leave some time, just not for a few more days, "I replied back, as Rudolph returned.

"You didn't think I leave you here, did you, "Rudolph said, "Ready to meet my parents."
"They said yes. " My brother asked.

"Well, they didn't say no, " Rudolph replied back. I have a bad feeling about this or is that just the older sister intuition. Idk. 

My brother made a joke that Rudolph didn't get but he still laughed. I followed behind, enjoying the breeze, snapping a few shots too.

My brother almost became a snack, Rudolph stepped in, he was starting to understand expressions. But my brother spoke up and allowed his vampire nerd side to show. 

"Mother, " Rudolph warned his mother, as she was about to bite my brother.  Then it was Rudolph's sister, he met. 

Rudolph's dad got a bit close, I stepped closer to my brother, he noticed to because he stepped back closer to me. I gave my brother a reassuring smile.

"You can have your mortal friend or be a part of this family, one or the other, the choice is yours," Rudolph's dad said, giving him a choice. 

Thats unfair, if you ask me. I could see the hurt look on his face, as he chooses my brother. I followed behind, stopping, "Not a cool move making your own family to have to choose. Even for vampires, he is your son, after all " I said walking behind them.
