Preview- In this part of the story lucy is about 15 and is on the verge of running away because of the way her parents have been treating her lately. She just can't take it anymore she just wanted to run to get away but she didn't want anyone to know what was going on at her house so she never told anybody. She also didn't have many freinds at school she only had a boy named jackson west he was the only one that would be nice to her has she would get made fun of often for the scars on her face . But jackson wouldn't he would also eat lunch with her which was a kind gestur for lucy.
This is taking placeat almost the end of lucy shoprmore year of highschool. Jackson is a senior so she knows that she wont have no freinds next year and the bulling would get even worse next year. Lucy leaving for school.
Lucy- ( thoughts )- we only have 4 weeks left of school but i'll only ever see Jackson around the town next year i really don't wamt him to graduatate but i know this is a happy moment for him i shouldn't hold him back
lucy just left for school has she walks everyday because her parents wont drive her or pay for the bus rides. When lucy enters the school building she as her head down trying not to get bulied has soon as she walks in but it always seems to happen.
RK- Hey guys look its scar face wonder how she got it( he said laughing which made the other kids laugh and yell other things at her )
lucy just walks to her class and sits down ready for the day to end before it has even started. Once she sat down the teacher start to talk but lucy kept zooning out because she just wanted to go home and was't listening. Before she knew it the bell rng and they went to lunch thats when Jackson came and sat with her.
Jackson- hey luce sorry in was late this moring my mom kept talking
lucy- ( quietly ) its fine
Jackson- well how is your day going so far
Lucy- ( quietly ) - it was fine
Jackson - i figured you were gonna say that so i brought something to make it a lil better
He pulled out a little box. He handed it to lucy and told her to open it as he wanted to see her reacation to his gift
Once she opened the gift she was stunned as nobodys every gottan her something likes this for her before. Her surprise was exachted over her face as she pulled out a braclet with gems and jews that make the barclet glow a lil. As she looks at the braclet she genullay looks happy she as a small smile as she thanked jackson for the gift.
Lucy- Thank you Jackson
Jackson- your welcome i thought it would be a good going away gift plus you'll always remember me
Lucy got up out of the table and hugged jackson for the first time he was surprised and sqeezed her tight embrcaing the moment
A Few Weeks Later
Today was the last day of school and the last lucy would see jackson she decided to make him something so that he would know when they find each other again
CONTEXT- jackson is moving the LA with his family has his father got a better job offer there and they didn't have phones yet cause their not very popular at this time
Lucy made jackson a lil braclet that kinda looked like the braclet that jackson had given her weeks before but instead it had and L ( for lucy) and J ( for jackson ) she made 2 so they could both were them.
the next day lucy went and give the braclet to jackson and he was happy that she made him something and that thing could help them find eacother in the future
Jackson- thank you luce
lucy just smiled and nodded.
