The mist had begun, the glass of the cab was moist and cold, i asked to be dropped off just outside the guard house to walk through the mist.

passing by the church of bello horizonte, i signed the cross to pay my respects and bowed from across.

The air was cold, i was nearly shivering. But i enjoyed it. I walked by ally ways as i put my hands through the pockets of my coat, a water droplet caught my attention as i look at the sky, there were no stars but hundreds of rain droplets dropping after a light sense of mist.

i walked faster as i was only about five minutes away from my home, i walked by the roofs of some shops to avoid getting wet. Then i heard splashes of footsteps behind me- heavy ones.

Me, as a person. My father had gifted me a shark tooth- almost as sharp as a spear, for my house decoractions, he said. I had bought it with me to sell or to use for self defense.

I looked behind, man's sillouhet, his coat slightly damped with water, hands within his pockets, his slacks were slightly lose. I turned by a corner to check if he was following me or not- yes. Indeed.

I stopped by an open space, turning to see the man. "Who are you?" Letting the droplets of rain drop within my neatly curled hair- ruining my make up. The man had removed his hat, revealing a pair of pale skin, green dead eyes and a smirk.

Theodorre? "What are you doing here?" I never called just yet. "Nice to see you too, Dianne." He smiled, showing the gap between his front teeth. "I couldn't get enough of you. I was afraid you wont call."

I admit; he was attractive and seductive, we just hadn't known each other for long to be following each other to their houses. I started to feel a bit guilty, getting the ick out of this man.

"I am too, but can we please set a proper date? Before following me here." My hair was fully damped as my clothers showing slight of my figure. "You know what i mean dianne." He walked closer as i grip the tooth right inside my pockets.

"I don't do One night stands." He walked closer, his cold breath touching my cheeks as he smirked, his hands on my shoulder as he slightly pushed me to the yellow walls of a closed restaurant. "Give me what i want."

"Please stop this. You're sinning." My voice slightly shaked as he started to undress my polo; revealing the dress i wore earlier which was damp. I tried to stop him with one of my hands yet he pinned it to the wall aswell.

He started to explore my neck to my chest, hoping he could stop, but as he got deeper, i couldn't think.

next thing i knew was there was the tooth stapeed through his chest, pulling it out with dropets of blood along with the wet rain as he slowly drops on his knees, bleeding through the tiles of Bello Horizonte.

my heart stopped beating, i was speechless, scared. Have i sinned more than he had? Of course. I was too ashamed to tell anyone. But i had only one solution for every sin.

running minutes, stumbling through the roads of Bello Horizonte, the rain got heavier, strikes of lightning got louder, i was crying and sobbing, i could barely breath as i ran.

i wasn't religous.

But i hated sinning.

i loved god as much as he loves us.

i climbed the slippery marble stairs of the church, praying as i held the tooth within my arms, no signs of blood. The church doors were open. Only candles lit the insides, i immedietly got on my knees by the confession box, sobbing. Hoping someone would answer my call for help.

i hoped this priest would keep this secret circling between god and me.
