Wangji panicked and woke up from his slumber, confused by the vivid dream. No one had ever dared to call him by his birth name, let alone a pet name, but the boy in his dream had done so fearlessly. Sitting on the edge of his bed, lost in deep thoughts, Wangji's ears burned with embarrassment. The mountain in his dream felt oddly familiar to him, its temple carved directly into the rock. Why was the mountain sealed? He pondered this question intently.

Determined to seek answers, Wangji resolved to share his dream with his brother. Deep down, he felt an urgent need to find the mountain and uncover the truth about Wei Wuxian. Until now, no one had ever affected Lan Wangji so profoundly, but this mysterious figure from his dream was different. Desperation to find him gnawed at Wangji's heart.

He bathed and went straight to find his brother. A few minutes later, he stood before him. "Good morning, brother," he said, and his brother greeted him back.

"I have something to tell you, brother," Wangji said, his face red. "What is it?" his brother replied.

Wangji briefly described the strange dreams he'd been having for the past few weeks. "Are you sure you want me to look into this? It's just a dream, Wangji," his brother said.

But Wangji interrupted desperately, "Brother, I want you to find the mountain."

"Okay, if you want me to, I'll try my best," his brother replied.

Later that day, Wangji was anxiously waiting for any news about the mountain from his brother. He was excited at the thought of possibly seeing Wei Wuxian in reality.
