Madison was running

Madison was running. Like full on sprinting.

She was a little bit late. Her and Wen planned to meet at lunch to discuss the songs and maybe go over some ideas.

She finally made it to the cafeteria and stopped to look around for Wen. When she spotted him and Charlie at a table, she made her way over there.

"Hey guys! Wen, I'm so sorry I'm late." she quickly said, out of breath as she sat down. "It's fine." he laughed.

"Okay. So, I have a few songs here that I think sound great."

She handed Wen her song book as she started explaining. "It's somewhere in there. It's called Breakthrough."

Wen was flipping the pages one by one searching for the song. "You wrote all these?" he asked, looking up at her.

"Yeah, why?" Madi looked back at him confused.

"They're really good. We should sing these sometimes."

"Oh. Thanks." she smiled.

When he finally found the song, he quietly started reading it to himself. "This is awesome. You got a melody?" he asked. "Yeah, I recorder some stuff yesterday." she answered.

Madison pulled her phone out and started playing the recording she made last night when she was working on the song.

Here comes a breakthrough
Here comes a day
Here comes a moment that you gotta go for it
So don't let it get away
It's all about breakthrough
Just turn the page
'Cause every day, I'm getting closer
Life is just a rollercoaster

"That's good." Charlie told her. "Yeah, totally." Wen agreed with him. Madison smiled at the two. "Thank you. I was thinking of showing it to the girls and then working on it with Olivia."

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

So, Madison grabbed her things and looked around for the rest of the band members. Then a familiar brunette caught her eye, sitting alone at one of the tables not far from them.

"You okay?" she asked Mo as she approached the table. Mo thought for a bit before saying anything as Madi sat down in front of her.

"If a guy doesn't call for a few days, should the girl worry?" she looked up at her. "Do guys do that?"

Madison was a bit surprised by the question. She's not really good with relationship advice. She was never in one to begin with.

"Oh. Uh, I think you should worry. Guys are kinda idiots anyways." Madi told her friend. "Oh." Sighed Mo.

"But I'm sure he will realize he did something wrong, and you'll be back to normal. It would be his loss, Mo. You're amazing." she reassured the girl because her advice wasn't helpful at all.

"Yeah. Thank you."

Madison smiled at her as the two boys joined them at the table. "What's up? Am I interrupting?" Mo shook her head. "Nope. Just boy advice."

"You? Boy advice?" Wen looked at Madison with his brows raised in surprise.

"Don't even." she sighed.

"Guys." Charlie said pointing behind them. They turned their attention on what he pointed out and the sight was enough for all of them to get up and make their way over there.

"What's going on?" Mo asked with her arms crossed. "We're just making small talk." Jules said as she held the drink that Olivia got for herself originally.

Madison rolled her eyes. "Ray, come on bro. Why don't you just leave her alone?" said Wen to the blonde.
