Giselle's POV
"Hey loser!" Karina called out to me, her usual minions, Winter and Ningning by her side.
I slammed my locker shut and walked away as I rolled my eyes.
The day just started and I'm already in a bad mood.
"Hey, hey! Where are you going?" Karina ran after me, she grabbed my arm and continued to bother me, "Hello? I'm talking to you--"
I quickly pulled my arm out of her grasp, "Shut. Up." I pushed her away and walked away.
I heard Winter and Ningning gasping, I bet they're staring at my back with the 'How dare she mess with my friend' look. One of the corners of my mouth lifted up with that thought.

Karina's POV
A few days ago, our professor announced a project which is approximately 50% of our grades and coincidentally, this.. loser's my partner. How great, I know.
Good thing in having her in my partner is, she's smart. Bad thing is.. well... There's no bad thing, I like her.
Back to reality, we're in my house. I was sitting on my couch while waiting for her to stop looking around and sit her ass down to start the project.
A few minutes passed by and she was still admiring her surroundings. I couldn't take it anymore and broke the silence, "Hello?? Do you want to finish this project or not?" I raised an eyebrow as I asked her with an impatient tone.
"...Ah, sorry.. my bad." She took a seat beside me as she reached out for her laptop which was in her backpack.

Giselle's POV
After what felt like an eternity, we finally finished the project. I let out a yawn as I covered my mouth, relaxing on the couch.
"..So, you hungry?" Karina asked, breaking the silence.
"...Kinda."
"What do you want? Let's order food." She took out her phone.
"I'm fine with anything."
"How about pizza then?" She suggested.
"Sure."

After eating, it was quite late. Approximately almost midnight. Karina didn't want Giselle to go home at this time so she suggested giselle to sleep at her house.
Giselle was quite surprised by her sudden kindness and decided to tease her a little, "Why so nice all of the sudden? Are you perhaps worried about me?"
Karina scoffed, "It's almost midnight and it's dangerous outside around this time for a girl like you, no?"
"A girl like me?"
"Yes, a girl like you. An awfully beautiful girl like you."
"Me..?"

After that night, Giselle and Karina got closer and closer, day by day. Karina stopped picking on Giselle, even if she missed picking on her.
Giselle on the other hand also missed being picked by Karina, somehow? Quite weird, but oh well..!

Giselle's POV
I was rummaging through my locker and finally found my science textbook. I shut my locker and got startled by the figure who was hiding the whole time, the figure.. It was Karina.
"Hey, Lover." Karina smiled while leaning against the locker.
"Lover?" I repeated with a confused look on my face.
"...You'll figure it out." She walked away as she chuckled slightly.
Lover...? Does she... Like me?..
