After a while, Alex got up.
Niko's POV: Should I tell him?! Uhm no, just play along.
Alex: Hey, uh oh- oh- I'm so sorry I had to stay here-
Niko: No, it's fine.
Alex: Really? It's okay I stayed here for a night?
Niko: Yeah really. Come anytime.
Alex: Thanks-! By the way, did you know Elijah is moving to the US for a job?
Niko: Hm... Really?
Alex: Yeah-! I'm actually really sad right now.
Niko: No, it's fine. Everything has to happen.
Then, Niko pulls him in for a tight hug. He didn't know what he was doing. It was his, first response let's say. It was just an instict. Really nothing more. Or what if it was?
Niko's POV: What am I doing-?! Uhh js play along and he'll trust you more-!
Alex: Thanks. I actually really needed that-
Niko: No problem, I mean, that's what friends are for after all- how about I take you out to dinner- and we go stargazing in that park near the BarStocks you work at?
Alex: Really-?
Niko: Of course!! I mean- what type of friend wouldn't!?
Alex: Oh my gosh thank you-!!
Niko: Really. No problemo-
They talked for a while, shared some laughs- hugged again but- this time. Niko felt he didn't have to play along. He felt like, he had to. Is this what having a true friend was like?
