If the realm we live in wasnt so fucked i might be happy to tell you my story. Hi i'm Eclipse Darkwing. If it isn't obvious I'm a demon well not fully demon I'm a demon fae. Yeah yeah i know shit end of the stick right. My mom was one the women they brought in 22 years ago. She got away and went into hiding in the area between the fae forest and the demon realm. That's how I ended up surviving. Well until one of the full bloods found me in the woods lost because my dumb ass wandered too far from our home. I mean i was 7 looking for a rose bush i had found one day in the fae forest. Yeah i know what would someone like me want with a damn rose bush right? Well for me it was my quiet space to get away and feel like i wasn't running from something. Every time id go it was as if the roses had just been watered and cared for by who i thought i would had never figured out. Not like i wanted to anyways i was a half breed i wasn't demon nor was i fae why would either accept me. so anyways the one time i did end up meeting the person who was taking care of the bush was the same day i ended up getting taken and raised by full blood demons, meeting my other creator. I grew up in well a living hell. The demon realm looked like a darker blackened version of the fae forest. Why couldn't I have been taken in by them..They don't kill the way demons do. They don't do anything the way demons do. I didn't want to turn out like them but in order to not be shut out by them and possibly tortured I ended up following the hellish rules that a demon had to follow, making me turn out just like them. I lost all sense of who my mother was and how kind she had been even though she had been put through hell by these full bloods. The guilt i have held since i was 12 when they found her again.. fuck mom i miss you.. They well they didn't kill her, they made me. Her only child end her life in order to keep my own life. It was do or die and i was 12 i didn't have memory of her at the time so i didn't know i had just murdered my own mother until after when my other creator picked me up on his shoulder and announced to the rest of the demons that i his son had killed my own mother out of cold blood to keep my own life. But enough of my guilty sad life due to it still haunting me, let's talk about the girl at the rose bush and why I was caught. So there I was walking to my quiet place when I saw this short pale little fae girl, who couldn't have been much younger than me. her deep blue eyes were enchanting. Her ears not quite shaped as off putting as mine. Just standing there humming softly as she watered the roses that i had grown to feel comforted by. I hadn't eaten in over a week due to my mother not being able to go hunt. I had started to grow this gnawing urge to feed when i saw her. Yet i don't want to harm her small frame but i couldn't help but step closer to her. Her eyes caught mine at the same time my feet began to move. That's when I heard a deep booming voice calling for her. I heard the man i believe her father yell 'Lavender where are you'. I ran in fear of what might happen if i was seen. I must have ran farther than i thought because i ran straight into a demon.

Years later now here I stand watching yet another fae woman about to be thrown into the flames. How sick I felt every time even after all these years fae after fae falling to our hand in death. I turn my head to look away in fear that I might actually vomit this time something no someone has caught my eye. It can't be no fae dares to enter the demon realm. I saw her Lavender no longer a small fae child but a bright blue eyed long black haired woman now. Not the small child I urged to feed on when we were at the rose bush. How could I forget the eyes that looked so curiously at me when I was about to shamelessly take their life out of pure hunger as a child.
