Tanjiro walks along mountains and mountains. It is now night time.Tanjiro suddenly senses something closing in.He looks behind to see-

Demon:Fresh meat!
Tanjiro:Listen,you don't really want to fight me,I assure you.
Demon:Please!Like I'll let you get out of here alive!
The demon rushes to Tanjiro,the man sighs and pulls out his large blade.Without a moment's hesitation,without warning,without even the slightest release of blood lust,he swings and decapitates the demon in one attack.Tanjiro holds his large cleaver over his shoulder as he watches the body.
Tanjiro:I told him.
Tanjiro starts to walk,but stops as he senses another being.He turns back to see an old man wearing a red mask.

Urokodaki:I see you handled that demon well.
Symbiote:Ignore this guy.
Tanjiro:We need to respect our elders.
Urokodaki:Who is it you speak to?
Tanjiro:No one.How may I help you?
Urokodaki:Oh it's nothing serious,I was just wondering,are you a demon slayer?
Tanjiro's fist clenches as he starts to grit his teeth.A unsettling feeling overcomes Urokodaki as he steps back in caution.Tanjiro then takes a deep breath in and out.
Tanjiro:...No,I am not affiliated with that group.I'm simply...on a mission.
Urokodaki:I see,what's your name?
Tanjiro:I am Tanjiro kamado.
Urokodaki:Say Tanjiro,what say I teach you?
Tanjiro:Teach me what exactly?
Urokodaki:I see potential in you,and with the right training,that potential can be brought out.
Tanjiro rubs his chin as he ponders it.
Tanjiro:Alright,I'll become your student.
Urokodaki:Follow me then.
Tanjiro follows Urokodaki,an hour passes as they arrive at the elderly man's house,on top of a mountain.
Urokodaki:You don't seem tired in the slightest,good.Despite my age,these old bones and muscles of mine can still go on.Let's begin immediately.
Tanjiro:Right.
Tanjiro and Urokodaki step outside and walk towards the back of the house.As they arrive, Tanjiro sees a gigantic rock.
Urokodaki:Now then,for your first step,Try to break this rock.
Tanjiro:Very well.
Tanjiro walks to the rock and holds his cleaver with both hands.He stares down the rock at the center as he raises his arms,he swings down at it,the cleaver carves through the rocks center in one fell swoop.Tanjiro's cleaver hits the ground as the halves of the rock fall.Urokodaki stares, shocked.
Urokodaki(thinking):H-How?!In one attack, without a breathing technique for that matter! If he were to learn that technique,he would become unstoppable.
Tanjiro:Is that all master?
Urokodaki:Uh-u-um...n-no!The next step for you tanjiro,is to learn the "total concentration breathing technique".
Tanjiro:Total concentration breathing?
Urokodaki:Yes,it has been used for countless centuries.It is to enhance the human body to achieve things that demons could achieve. However,sometimes raw power is not enough. And so,there were breathing techniques created.Water breathing,wind breathing, thunder breathing,and so on.If you are to master this tanjiro,you must first learn to control your breathing.
Tanjiro:Yes sir.
Urokodaki:Sit.
Tanjiro sits down and lays the cleaver flat on the ground.
Urokodaki:Now then,breathe slowly.
Tanjiro follows the instructions.They breathe slowly for minutes.
Urokodaki:Now breathe deeply,intensely!
Tanjiro follows,showing remarkable skill and adaptation.Hours pass as the two stand.
Urokodaki:Now then,these are the fundamentals of the technique.Practices it, refine it,and eventually?You will manifest it.
Tanjiro:Yes sir.
Tanjiro sits back down and refines his breathing.Urokodaki steps into his house, flabbergasted.
Urokodaki:That boy,he sure is something.
Urokodaki sleeps.

The next day starts as Urokodaki steps out to see tanjiro sitting on the edge of the mountain he lives on.He speaks without turning to him.
Tanjiro:I've done it,sensei.
Urokodaki:Oh?
Tanjiro:Yes.I have mastered your breathing technique.
Urokodaki:Then show me.
Tanjiro stands up,he closes his eyes and takes a heavy inhale in.He feels energy and strength flow through his body.He picks up his cleaver and looks to his left to see a field of trees, Tanjiro swings his blade and creates a gargantuan force,the force ruptures the roots and sends the trees flying out of the ground,the first layer of now and rocks flies along with the trees,leaving Urokodaki completely in awe.
Urokodaki:I-I-I-
Tanjiro turns back to his sensei and bows his head.
Tanjiro:Thank you master.
Urokodaki:Oh!Um-the pleasure was all mine, but the training isn't over yet.Now you must learn a breathing style.The only one I know of is water breathing.
Tanjiro:Very well then.Please teach me.
Urokodaki nods,he and Tanjiro walk into the snowy forest.
Urokodaki:Let's begin.The idea of water breathing is to mimic water.You must be strong and firm,but also durable and have strong gutsNever let your opponent get the edge of power on you,if you can't overpower your foe,then revert to defense and ward off the blow.
Tanjiro nods his head,Urokodaki and Tanjiro practice the forms of water breathing.They practice for hours and hours,Tanjiro adapts quickly and learns the forms.
Urokodaki:Impressive.I...have nothing left to teach you.
Tanjiro bows his head.Urokodaki bows in return.
Tanjiro:Thank you master.
Urokodaki:May you prosper on your journey tanjiro kamado.
Tanjiro:Thank you sensei.
Tanjiro walks away,leaving his sensei.However, after walking away for a few hours,he stops.He grabs his cleaver again as he remembers something,someone.

Tanjiro's father,Tanjuro.While learning the breathing styles,Tanjiro remembered something from his father.On occasion,his father would do a dance,the hinokami kagura.
Tanjiro takes a stance as he remembers his father's words.
Tanjiro:Hinokami kagura...
Tanjiro breathes in a new style,surging with energy and power like never before.
Tanjiro:Dance!
Tanjiro swings his blade down,creating a massive shockwave.Thankfully,nothing was in front of Tanjiro,but he could still sense the power of the attack.Tanjiro looks at his cleaver again.
Tanjiro:Father,master Urokodaki.I will remember what you have taught me.

Tanjiro has now learned the breathing technique.With a new powerful weapon in his disposal,Tanjiro continues on his journey.
