Getting to know the Kings wasn't easy. Mostly because there was a lot going on. I could understand though, they were in charge of things and from what I could understand, there were some issues with other creatures outside of their land and also some issues with this plan or idea to really push for Bloodline women to unite and give birth to Vampires who in return wouldn't need to depend as heavily on blood.
From how they talked, it seemed like their bloodlust wasn't as prevalent when they're with a bloodline woman. That our blood made them more docile and didn't affect them the same as normal human blood. So, that was on my mind.... The only other thing I was thinking about was the dream? I didn't know if it was a dream or not and King Yoongi certainly wasn't up for telling me either way.
I dressed for another day, wearing these dresses was new for me. Today's dress, which was picked out by the human women who tended to me, was a pale blue sheer material with a white satin material under it. It was A framed, Being slimmer on top and then becoming much looser as the fabric draped down to my calves. It was paired with a pale blue flat show with white pearls along the top of each shoe. I made my way down for breakfast and the only one there was Hoseok. One of the Kings that I didn't get to spend much time with yet.
"Good morning. Sleep well?" He asked."Yes, thank you." I replied to him.
"Eat up, we have a long day ahead of us," He said with a smile.
"We do?" I questioned as I sat down to eat something.
"Mhm. You're coming with us to see a little of what we do exactly. After all, if you're to be ours you should know these things and You'll have things you want to do as well to help keep our people together, and happy. We'll take care of the protection aspects." He said with another, slightly brighter smile.
"I'd like that... I haven't gotten to spend time really with some of you." I said to him."True, we'll get to rectify that today though. Eat up precious." He grinned and drank from his cup again. I ate my breakfast with Hoseok watching me. He'd flash me cute smiles, bright smiles. I wasn't sure if he found watching me eat to be interesting but there was something oddly calming in how he watched me. Calm, but bright if that makes any sense.
Once breakfast was done, Hoseok led me out of the manor and into a waiting car with blacked out windows on most of the car's windows. It looked like a luxury town car. It might have been a rolls royce. I didn't know cars like that, so I couldn't tell.
We got in, Hoseok made sure I was buckled and then he nodded to the driver. I didn't know where we were going exactly, but it was a nice ride. We traveled through some farmland and a few suburb areas before finally I saw the familiar sights of the city."Where are we going?" I asked. Confused as to why we just drove out and around to the city.
"I thought a more scenic drive would be nice. Besides, it gives you some time before what we're about to step into." He grinned. I wasn't sure if I should be worried or not. The car pulled up to a big building.
"We're just waiting on clearance, Sir." the driver said to Hoseok.
"That's fine." He replied to the man. Hoseok smiled at me and looked me over.
"You look very lovely today." He commented.
"Oh, thank you. You look lovely as well." I replied, almost wanting to smack myself for calling him lovely. Wouldn't 'handsome' have been better? I scolded myself a little more before the car moved again. We drove around and went into a side entrance that took us under the building. Hoseok got out of the car first and then held his hand out for me. I placed my hand in his and he hooked his arm with mine and led me into the building. There was an elevator we took. We went up to the main floor, and then exited into the front lobby. People kept staring, bowing, staring, more bowing and curtsying. I reminded myself that it was for Hoseok, he was one of their kings, so this must be how it is any time they come into the city.
