Trouble On The Borderline

(Namjoon's POV)

"Fuck! FUCK!" The sounds of cursing filled my ears as I made my way downstairs to the main floor. The entrance had a trail of blood leading down and into the parlor room. I continued to hear the voice of my brothers, three of them, angry, in pain, and cursing up a storm.

"Don't! That fucking hurts!" I heard Yoongi's voice. Following the blood led me to the voices. Yoongi was propped up in a chair. His leg had a gash in it, he was bleeding, but the other man laying on the floor was in worse condition. He was missing an arm and he had three large claw marks across his abdomen. He was bleeding a lot more. The scream... the woman, was one of the house maids. She had been bit and fed on by one of the two injured. I didn't know which one but my guess was the man on the floor, passing out from blood loss.

"End his suffering." Jin commanded and Aarum, on of our guards speared him through the heart. His instantly decayed body was removed and Yoongi still winced and yelled in pain.

"Where the fuck is that doctor!" His eyes, a fire red that made him look more intimidating than he was.

"You need to be stitched up if you're not healing." The voice of Doctor Rutherford came from beside me, I nodded and let him pass. He came in and got right to looking at Yoongi's leg.

"What happened, exactly?" I asked, unclear of how this came to be.

"Well, we were patrolling... and you know the north shore reservation, where the manticore and flits, and the other creatures who serve us are protected? Well they came out of there. Two of them and four rogue Vampires. They commanded the beasts to attack us.. Two lycan with no brains but determination to please their masters. Pity those mutts don't realize they're being used." Jungkook replied, then looked back to Yoongi.
"He took the brunt of the rush, but Gi here wasn't having it. He pushed Yoongi out of the way and one of the Lycan took his arm. The other slashed him open and Yoongi got up and took down one of them. I was keeping an eye on the Vamps but had to step in. The second Lycan tore into Yoongi's leg. I had to take him out.. But even still.. Yoongi was cut and I knew what might happen next." Jungkook said, finally looking back to me.

"And our Maid?" I asked, motioning to the poor woman who was clutching her neck with a cloth.

"Gi was delirious.... He grabbed her as soon as she opened the door and he bit her." Jungkook confirmed.

"You thought it was me, didn't you?" Yoongi looked at me and asked.

"No. I actually knew it couldn't be you. You're not that careless... and even if you were delirious I'm almost positive you'd rather suffer more pain than give in to the urge for fresh blood." I told him. He nodded and the doctor opened his bag as he stood up from his crouched position on the floor.

"I'm going to need him moved, I'll need hot water, some cloth for cleaning and to be honest... for now. I'll check him after I've stitched him up." Doctor Rutherford said, I motioned for the guards in the room to take Yoongi up to his bed chambers. I followed the doctor up as Jungkook helped the guards first.

"Put him in here, on the bed. Get the doctor hot water, clean cloths and some more pillows in case we need them." I instructed the Guards who carried Yoongi into his room and the attendants who were waiting for their orders. They laid Yoongi on the bed, he grunted and groaned in pain as he was propped up with some pillows.

As the attendants rushed in with the water, the Doctor was finishing setting up.

"You're lucky I carry sterilized needles for my human patients." Dr. Rutherford said, maybe to make Yoongi think about the pain less. It wasn't normal for us to be in such pain... unless one of our few weaknesses were affecting us... and unfortunately I knew why Yoongi was in the pain he was in.
