Next day,
Akshara lay in bed, her eyes vacant and lifeless. The trauma of the past year had taken a severe toll on her mental health. She often flinched at the slightest sound and struggled to bond with baby, fearing she might fail him.
"Akshu," Abhimanyu whispered as he entered the room, cradling the baby in his arms. "Look who wants to see you."
Akshara turned her head slightly, her eyes barely focusing on her husband and child. Abhimanyu sat beside her, gently placing the baby on her lap. The baby cooed, reaching out to touch his mother's face.
"He's missed you so much," Abhimanyu said softly. "We both have."
A tear slipped down Akshara's cheek. She wanted to hold the baby to feel the joy of motherhood, but something stopped her. Everytime she sees the baby, she is reminded of the mistake she made by believing That Abhinav .... Abhimanyu, sensing her hesitation, wrapped his arms around both of them.
"Akshu .... dont think too much .... he is our baby ... Our miracle baby ..... dont think on what that Abhinav did ..... we are happy and safe .... now our full attention is on our baby .... "
Akshu smiled a little but something was going on in her heart ... Abhi sensed this and held her hand and said ....
"We'll take it one step at a time, Akshu," he reassured her. "I'm here with you. Always."
Akshu laid on his shoulders in sideways and was holding the baby who was smiling seeing his parents ...
"Akshu !! We have to arrange for the Naamkaran of our baby "
"Yeah .... we will consult papa and finalise the date .... "
The date for the NaamKaran were finalised and it was 2 days after .... They made the decorations because it was the first function for the baby and they wanted to do it grandly .... Only the close relatives were invited ...
The day of the naming ceremony arrived, bringing a fresh wave of hope and joy to their household. The house was adorned with vibrant flowers and decorations, family and friends gathered to celebrate the precious new addition to their family. Akshara, dressed in a beautiful saree, looked radiant as she held Abhir in her arms.
Abhimanyu stood beside her, his hand gently resting on her back, offering silent support and reassurance. As the priest began the rituals, Akshara and Abhimanyu exchanged a glance filled with love and understanding.
When the moment came to announce their son's name, Abhimanyu took a deep breath. "We are blessed to introduce our son, Abhir," he declared, his voice filled with pride and emotion.
A round of applause and cheers filled the room. Akshara looked at Abhimanyu, tears of happiness brimming in her eyes. "Abhir," she whispered, kissing her baby's forehead. "Our little miracle."
After the ceremony got over, there came a cake with "ABHIR" written over it .... and it was a blue colour cake .... Abhi and Akshu cut the cake ......and feed each other ....
That evening, after the guests had left and Abhir was peacefully asleep, Abhimanyu and Akshara sat on their balcony, reflecting on the day. The sky was a canvas of stars, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of jasmine.
"Today was perfect," Akshara said softly, leaning into Abhimanyu's embrace.
"It was," Abhimanyu agreed, kissing the top of her head. "You were perfect."
Akshara looked up at him, her eyes shining with gratitude and love. "I couldn't have done this without you, Abhi."
Abhimanyu cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away the stray tears. "We'll face everything together, Akshu. No more doubts, no more fears."
