"Yeah dawg cause some yute feel dem bad" Tyrone added before chuckling
They were trying to scare a group of grade 9 boys who were pushing badness.
"Look pan dem maamz deh" Gio said to Jabari and Tyrone
"Mi see dem mn" Tyrone replied
"Affi get one" Jabari said
Walking over to them, the boys watched as Jabari spoke to the girls.
Seeing him give his phone to her, they laughed knowing that he was getting her number.
"Yow him gooda all knock it whether dem deh or not" Gio said to Tyrone as Tyrone laughed
Seeing Jabari walk back over to their usual spot in Half way tree, he dabbed up both of them before he sat.
"She did easy, deven seh mek wi ave a likkle conversation" Jabari said
"Him a complain and him get a gyal" Tyrone said to Gio
"A suh him stay mn, ungrateful fucka him be" Gio chuckled
"MOCA ketch yuh yet?" I asked Gio
"Neva" he said before laughing
"Get fuck if yah chop and dem pop up" Jabari joked

"Weh yuh seh dawg, yah guh run?" Tyrone asked

Zoning out, I thought about life so far.
Calabar a fuckry but if it wasn't for them, mi wouldn't meet dem yute yah.
Meet Gio inna grade seven and Tyrone inna grade nine.
Wi likkle group mek sometime after, mi nuh too memba.
Gio and Tyrone aren't my only friends, I have more.
Gio and I are like brothers or bench and batty as Jamaicans would say.
No battymanism attached.
Feeling a slap in my back, I was dragged from my thoughts.
"Come mek wi bill a spliff, yuh sidung yasso a stare out a space like yuh head a chip" Gio said making me laugh
"Nothing like that mayne" I replied
Taking out my Black Russian, Purple Skunk and Tangy, I took out 3 three wrizzla's.
"Bombaat dawg, a di three strongest one dem yuh really tek out" Tyrone said making Gio and I laugh
"All the better" I replied
Taking out the lighter, I closed back my bag.
Sharing the wrizzla's and the weeds between all three of us, I started building.
"Mi feel fi some pussy inna di day yah" Gio said making me look at him
"How dat sound suh dawg" Tyrone added
"Like yuh nyam front" he continued making me laugh
"Oye guh suck yuh mada and liff up wid dat cause mi nuh know a wah kinda style that yuh deh pan" Gio said
Laughing out loud, I lost my balance and fell off of the bench.
Choking on air, I tried calming myself down.
"Watch all dah one yah to" he said referring to me before he started laughing
"Mi cyah breathe" I managed to say before coughing more
"Yuh good bredda?" Gio asked
"Mi a dead" I said before laughing more
"Yute a choke and him still a laugh to pussyclaat" Gio said making me laugh more
Watching Gio, he stood up and took two steps foward before he fell.
Laughing more, tears started coming out of my eyes.

Opening my eyes, the brightly lit room caused me to close them back.
"Thank you Jesus for waking me up this morning" I said before yawning
"What a way yuh just a wake and is afta 1 inna di afternoon" my grandma said after walking into my room
"I was tired" I said rubbing my eyes before sitting up in the bed
"I hope anuh man yaad yuh did deh mek yuh come in suh late last night" she said making me roll my eyes
I wasn't, I was out with my friends.
"All the time mi warn yuh bout dem so called fren deh" she continued
"But who doh hear will feel" she said before walking out of my room while closing the door behind her
I quickly got out of bed and went in the bathroom locking the door behind me.
I let out a sigh before I sat on the toilet to do my business.
After doing that I took a bath and did my skincare routine and then I got dressed.

Sitting on my bed, I was scrolling through Instagram.
"Girll, come tell mi how it guh" My sister Jai'da said making me smile
Jaida was one year younger than me.
She is my happiness.
"It was ok" I said keeping it short and simple
"Doh do that, it's your first time going to a club and you're seventeen. It's a BIG moment" she said emphasizing on the word big
Laughing, I thought about what happened last night.
"To be honest, nothing exciting happened" I told her honestly

"I don't even know what they look like" I replied
