"Ok everyone in there places? Roll in three. Two. One." The crew member in charge of the rolling cameras shouted and everything turned on and we stared at the host.
"Hello everyone and welcome back. As you know we have some very special guests from the hit show House Of The Dragon. Please welcome-" in that moment time seemed to stop for me.
Call it nerves or whatever but everything became slightly blurred and hummed, except for the hosts voice.
"Tom Glynn-Carney!" The crowd erupted in cheers, which to me was drowned out and became a ringing in my ears.
Ewan must have notice and instinctively held my hand.
"Deep breathes Amara. Everything will be fine." He placed circles on the back of my hand and I looked up at him. I smiled at him and he smiled back. We stayed there for what felt like forever.
"Ewan Mitchell!" He let go of my hand really fast and walked out towards the crowd. My heart started to race. For the first time I felt nervous and sweaty.
"And last but certainly not least.... Can we get a drum roll please....." the sounds of drums interrupted my train of thought and brought me out of my meltdown. I stood up straight, I inhaled and put on a smile.
"Amara Thomas!" The crowd again went wild, the curtain opened a bright light flashed in my face and I tried not to squint my eyes and just kept smiling. When my eyes finally focused there were rows of fans clapping and cheering. I waved and blew kisses towards them and made my way towards the boys.
The host sat in a single couch like chair and Tom was closest to him, when I got near, Tom stood up and signaled for me to take the seat.
"Thank you." I whispered towards him and sat down. I crossed my legs and stared at the host.
"We have gentlemen in the house tonight, did you guys see that?" The host pointed between Tom and I. The crowd roared which made me laugh.
"Well yes, ladies they are up for grabs each one of them." I said and looked at them, their cheeks blushed.
"Oh Amara stop you're making me blush." Tom covered his mouth with his hand and made a girly giggle. Ewan had a tight smile, almost like he was holding in a laugh. I on the other hand let out a loud laugh.
"I'm so sorry." I straightened, and composed myself in my seat.
"Ok let's get on with it. Amara how is it working with these boys? Being their sister. Is it hard?" The boys stared at me. I bit my lip a little trying to put it into words.
"Yea Amara. Is it hard?" Tom leaned forward.
"Oh it's incredibly hard. They're always laughing on set, they can never be serious. In all truth, it's amazing and I wouldn't imagine working with any other people. I love them." I nodded and looked at everyone as the crowd bursted in to all types of "awws."
"Aww now that is sweet. Boys is it the same for you?" I could tell the boys were acting. Everything was an act.
"Oh yes for sure. She's very serious on set."
"Almost like a mother, she tries to keep everyone in check and we all really appreciate her."
"Without her, we wouldn't get any work done, so we and the fans are eternally grateful."
I smiled as the boys finished their questions. While we were on ad break the crew handed us each a stick with each of our faces on it. They said we would be playing 2 games.
"Welcome back, I'm sat here with Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell and Amara Thomas. We are playing Most Likely To. For those of you who don't know how the game works we will be asking them questions based on their show and they will hold up the sign with that persons face they think is mostly likely to do that thing. They each have a stick with the others faces." We all held up the sticks while we listened to the host.
I turned towards the boys, I knew how slightly competitive they were, I just didn't know how deep it ran. Ewan looked over at me and winked at me.
"Ok are you guys ready? Ok let's start who's most likely to... burn down a town for the death of their nephew." I pulled my gaze away from Ewan and took in the question.
I held up mine and stared at the boy's answers, my face was in front 3 times.
"Oh wow. Care to explain?" The host laughed, as did i.
"Well I've very family oriented, and I would definitely go to war for them." I laughed again and we all put our sticks down.
I patted the stick on my lap waiting for the next question patiently.
"Who's most likely to...steal their siblings birthright?" I thought for a second not sure to think about it personally, so I held up Ewan.
Tom held up my face and Ewan held up Tom. We looked at each other stunned to say the least.
"I'd do no such thing."
"I wouldn't either."
"So then Amara then?"
"Yes actually."They both held up the stick with my face on it. I hesitated, I got up from my seat and took the sticks from them both.
"That's enough children. It's Ewan. I mean look at that face ladies." The crowd cheered and screamed profanity's at us.
"Ok ok give it back now." Tom reached his hand out.
A while later after playing both games the host gave us a very genuine smile and turned towards the camera.
"Well Ladies and Gentlemen this was team green and one single member of team black. I hope you guys really enjoyed this interview. I'm Albert Jones and I'll see you tomorrow night with all members of team black. Goodnight everybody!" The crowd cheered and booed, I stood up and smoothed my dress. I noticed a few wrinkles and folds but I couldn't quite get them out.
"You look lovely." A voice leaned into my ear and whispered. His sudden hot breath made me shiver and sent goosebumps all over my body.
