After the previous day's events, no one was speaking to each other properly. The trio had fallen out, and they were wandering around the school alone. As Max was walking down the corridor alone, he heard Fiona call out to him.
"I only have one question for you, Max."
Max was surprised by Fiona's sudden demand and nodded. "Was the only reason you took Kyle down because of a disagreement between you two?"
"Yes, exactly," Max said, shrugging.
Fiona slapped Max across the face. Max held his face in pain, looking at Fiona strangely.
"You played with my feelings, you dirty liar!"
Max didn't know how he had made his mother so angry, but he saw it as a good thing.
"You made me think you took Kyle down for me! You made me feel like a fool," Fiona said, recalling Lena's advice.
"I'm not into guys like you. You're rude and stupid, and I don't like you at all." Fiona continued. "Do you really not like me at all?" Max asked with a victorious expression.
Fiona frowned and walked away without looking back, bumping into the lockers to keep from falling. A smile spread across Max's face. Then he joyfully repeated what Fiona had said:
"She doesn't like me at all..."

After school, Lena was walking alone. Michelangelo, seeing Lena alone as she walked past the basketball court, ran after her.
"Lena!"
Seeing Michelangelo again, Lena was genuinely annoyed and quite angry from the events of the previous day.
"What is it this time, Michelangelo?"
Noticing Lena's harsh tone, Michelangelo felt embarrassed. However, he wanted to cheer Lena up.
"I guess you're a bit down."
"Wow, as if I didn't know that," Lena said, rolling her eyes.
"Hey, Lena. Guess what? I got my skateboard back from Kyle."
Michelangelo showed the skateboard he still wanted to give to Lena.
"If you want, I can still teach you."
Lena took the skateboard from Michelangelo's hand and spun it around for a while. Then she did something Michelangelo didn't expect at all. She threw the skateboard down the stairs beside the court, and it shattered.
"I guess you won't be able to teach me anymore."
Michelangelo looked at Lena, confused:
"Why did you do that?"
"Because I'm tired of you chasing after me, and I don't want to learn how to ride your stupid skateboard."
"If you wanted me to stop following you, you could have told me. You didn't need to be rude."
"I don't care anymore. Knowing we'll disappear in two days makes all your problems seem insignificant."
"You know, Lena, you're very different from what I thought." Michelangelo said this, then left with a disappointed expression.
"At least he won't be chasing after me anymore," Lena said to herself nonchalantly.
Then she stopped and repeated excitedly:
"He won't be chasing after me anymore!"

Meanwhile, Fiona, who had just argued with Max, found Michelangelo's shattered skateboard on the stairs leading to the basketball court. She bent down and examined the pieces. She remembered who the skateboard belonged to.
"Michelangelo..."
She recalled Lena's words from two days ago. She bent down, gathered the pieces, and, ensuring no one was around, put them in her bag.

"So, you're saying they met, and now neither of them likes either of you?"
Max and Lena looked at each other, then turned to Mrs. Lincoln and nodded.
"That's a good sign, right?" Tyler asked.
"That's awesomesauce!" Max said.
Why do you keep saying that word awesomesauce? Does sauce taste awesome in the future likely because they use more artificial substances in it?" asked Mrs. Lincoln with a confusion.
Max stared at her weirdly.
"It's just an expresssion meaning awesome." Lena explained.
"Oh. Can I see that photo again?" Mrs. Lincoln asked.
Lena handed the photo to Mrs. Lincoln from her bag. Mrs. Lincoln exclaimed excitedly:
"Look, look, the arms! They're back!"
Lena, Max, and Tyler looked at Leo in the photo where Mrs. Lincoln was pointing. Then they excitedly hugged each other. The hug was short-lived.
"Oh, right...we were supposed to be angry at each other, weren't we?" Max said, remembering the previous day.
"It's fine Max. We're not going to disappear, so nothing else matters," Lena said.
"But why did only the arms come back, and his head is still missing?" Max asked.
"Because everything still depends on tomorrow's game. The moment your parents fall in love, your brother's head will come back too. But rest assured, whatever you did today has set the stage for them to fall in love tomorrow. All you need to do is nothing."
Lena, Tyler, and Max looked at Mrs. Lincoln with confused expressions.
"What I mean is, if you let things take their course tomorrow, your parents will fall in love naturally. As long as you don't intervene in events. So, don't interfere with anything."
"So, are you saying we don't even need to go to the basketball game tomorrow?" Lena asked.
"Technically yes, but I recommend you go. If you go, you might prevent someone from accidentally stopping your parents from meeting," Mrs. Lincoln explained.
Max and Tyler looked at her, still not understanding.
"What I mean is, maybe whether or not your parents fall in love still depends on an event that happens only if you're there. Even if you have a time machine, you can never predict the future."
"So, in conclusion, we need to go tomorrow," Max said.
"If you didn't understand anything I said, understanding just this is enough," Mrs. Lincoln replied.
