New Enemy

"How the fuck did this happen? I know we killed everyone. Naw, nigga Unk got some false information. He needs to get that fool to recheck their shit. I know we never... never ever leave any left alive." Elias ranted as Xavier looked over the information handed to him. He understood what his cousin was saying, but what he was looking at was evidence they fucked up somewhere. He knew if someone was hiding in a panic room or something. It was possible they missed someone, and it was a problem.

"Sadly, it's possible Lias. Someone could have been hiding in a panic room, and there's no need to argue. What we need to do is come up with a plan to stop them before it gets out of hand."

"It's already out of hand, Xy. They made a point to let us know they were coming for us. Now, it's up to us to figure out who we left alive and killed them before they build an army and attack." Elias let out a deep sigh, but Xavier knew what this was about. He knew it was a bad idea to announce that we were sitting back and letting their allies take the lead. Most were starting to think they were losing authority, which was far from the truth.

They all knew there was no way to take a back seat. All the other mafias would assume they had weakened and come after them as The Egyptian Mafia was doing now. The only problem with this picture was Xavier knew they killed everyone, so it had to be someone else who was using Osiris's Mafia name. He was the one who put the bullet through his head. "I warned them this would happen, but no one ever listened to us."

"That's not true, Ava. We all thought it would be best to take the backseat, but it made others think we might be weak, especially with the shit that went on between our parents. I hate to say it, but they put targets on our backs, separating the way they did."

"That could be true since they hadn't announced they were back together... Who do you think lived if one of the Mohammed's were alive? "Xavier shared over at Eva as Rajesh whispered something in her ear. Calmly, she nodded, taking their son while he stood. "Where the fuck you think you're going nigga?"

"Lias—"

"Naw, dawg, you acting like you know something, and your bitch ass better start talking." Elias needed to get high because everyone knew Raj was about to leave for work. It surprised them to learn he was a Data Scientist, plus it was seven in the morning. "Elias, check the time. He's leaving for work, you damn idiot."

"Oh damn, I need a blunt." Xavier chuckled as he continued his search for the new head of the Egyptian Mafia, but he was coming up short. It was starting to get under his skin. He never left anyone alive, which made him question himself. "Babe, don't stress yourself over this. Things like this happen sometimes. Let's focus on finding out who it is and killing them."

"I agree with Shanice. I'm not going to sit around crying over spilled milk. I have too many other things to worry about than a punk bitch that's scared to show his face. Have you ever noticed that? All our enemies are weak. They want to start shit and then hide in the shadows. It's time to show them what we are made of. They called themselves The Osiris, which is the Egyptian God of fertility, death, and resurrected but is hiding in the dark. Let's show them what a real God looks like."

"Hey, Xy, you do know Oni means demon—"

"Major, do I look fucking dumb to you?" Instead of answering, he stared at her for a moment, and then Barkley laughed. It was funny to know Major was afraid of Xylia. He claimed she looked like she was ready to kill the world or just hated him. "No, but you were referring us to Gods when we are demons... technically."

"If Mi were ya Mi would stop before ya make a fool of yah self, brutha."

"I second that. Please listen to your brother before Xyla kills your ass." Ava laughed as Major sighed, looking around the room. Xavier understood what he was saying, but they all knew that Xylia hated being corrected, and he and Barkley were the only ones who could get by with it.
