Tomorrow's my birthday, it's been a while since I actually celebrated my birthday. Whenever I do it's shit. I was in the kitchen while Jake sat at the island, working on a video on his laptop. I was making dinner for the three for us since no one had money to DoorDash. I was really quiet while Jake was talking to me, just earning small hums and okays from me.

He got up from his spot, putting his chin on my shoulder and arms around my waist. "What's wrong?" He whispered in my ear, I turned my head, turning the stove off. I sighed then looked at him. "My birthdays tomorrow and I hate celebrating it." I mumbled in response, he nodded, he went onto the counter, his feet dangling. "Oh well.." he began, he had an idea in mind but I couldn't quite figure it out while looking at him. "What if I plan us something?" He said, looking down at me from the counter. "Sounds fun." I said back.

——— Jake's POV

I went back the room that me and y/n shared, I texted Tara about what I wanted to do for y/n. I had everything thought out already step by step, surprise her with going out, get a secret party ongoing at home, by the time we were done out everything would be finished at home, party, drinks food etc and a whole party for her with tons of surprises.

J : okay so since tomorrow is y/n's birthday we need to plan something. I had an idea that you, Johnnie and me can set up a secret party at the house, get people in, drinks, food you know and I'll take her out to diner for a distraction and all.. you think that's a good idea??"

I then told Tara to tell Johnnie the details and went back to the kitchen, where I thought y/n was but she was in the living room. "Hey," I mumbled as I slid in next to her, snaking my arm over her shoulder. "Hey, love." She whispered back, "how do you feel about a dinner date tomorrow?" I asked her, last week I had surprised her as well, I'm planning to do the same but even better. She looked at me, happy but also a little frowny. "That sounds amazing," she replied, I nodded and set the reservation on my phone.

She went back to our room, deciding to take nap, it was the perfect time to tell Johnnie our plan and how we would do everything. "Johnnie!!" I called him from the living room, he comes out, wearing his whole emo attire but never even goes out. "What?" He asks, not seeming annoyed but genuinely tired sounding.

"So, I'm setting something up for y/n.. all I need you to do is help Tara set the place up for tomorrow at 7:30, she'll tell you the rest." I told him, I didn't feel like blabbing all of the details since Tara would tell him the rest tomorrow.
