After meeting each other back at an award show in 2018 when Chaewon was apart of Izone; they exchanged phone numbers and have become best friends ever since. Chaewon joining HYBE was the cherry on top for these girls, Chaewon is constantly in Haerin's studio hanging out and they're always spotted walking around the company building together.

There aren't a lot of public interactions between the two but there are a lot of moments of them praising the others comeback on a live. Though they are the same age Haerin has a lot of experience in the industry and she's always there to offer advice and support for him when it's needed.

They became extremely close and whenever Haerin found her way back to SM to visit her older brother she'd always make sure to stop by and see her bestie. Haerin was the most supportive when Yeri was added into Red Velvet and even now she's always singing the newest RV song in her lives. Yeri is the first to hug Haerin and end of year shows and the loudest idol cheering when she wins something.

:.±|𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣: Olivia is Haerin's oldest friend; they met in kindergarten at their international school and have been friends ever since. They went through childhood, adolescence, and now they are enjoying growing into adults with each other. Not much is known by Army about Olivia except for her instagram but they do know just how important she is to Haerin. She even has a few songs dedicated to her and their friendship.

:.±|𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣: You can't talk about Haerin's favorite people and not bring up her boyfriend Soobin. These two are the ultimate best friends to lovers; after being friends since Soobin joined the company back in early 2016 the two finally got together in 2022. They are the cutest and just hold so much love and respect for each other. Though they don't have too many public interactions as they like to keep things pretty private they have talked a little bit about their relationship on lives and they love to post a good soft launch instagram story.
