Haerin was sat right in front of him on the seating chart and they spent a fun few weeks laughing and joking around in class as well as on the phone whenever Haerin wasn't in school because of schedules. After they went on their first date; a cute little cafe tucked away on some random street near the dorm; they were both smitten.
Since it was her first ever relationship Haerin had a hard time figuring out what was okay and what wasn't. She figured his demands of time and wanting her to distance herself from other people in her life made sense, even if she didn't like it. He made her keep their relationship a secret from the members for most of their time together but once they found out they were quick to school her on what was acceptable and what wasn't. They were a big reason for the two breaking up and even though Haerin was pretty sad she got over it relatively quickly.
