Leaving Joe Behind

Taylor's Pov:

That Night Joe came Home very late and didn't even show up for Dinner made Taylor very Angry. She had worked hard on making a Homemade Dinner something the both of them would like but she ended up eating alone at a big Dining Room Table eating the Homemade Shrimp Alfredo Pasta that she made herself and some Salad she had made.

Joe had sent her a Text that he was staying at Work late. She knew he had been lieing the moment he came home and she could smell the other Woman's perfume on him and she could see a Pink Lipstick Shade on the Color of his shirt and neck and she could tell he had been either making out with the Woman or having Sex with her in the Office or had he been at her Place all evening? Taylor couldn't tell but one thing she knew is that she didn't matter to him and that he is cheating.

Taylor had been waiting for him.she was sitting in a Chair waiting on him when he came Home and she had been sitting there ever since she finished watching one of her TV Shows. When Joe came in the Bedroom silently thinking she was asleep, Taylor turned on the Bedroom light suddenly blinding Joe with the light. He looked like a Deer caught in Headlights. "You were supposed to be Home around 6 or 7 pm to have Dinner with me where were you? And don't tell me at Work because we both know it's not true".

She pointed at the Evidence on his Collar and Neck and said she could smell perfume. "The Evidence on your Clothes and Neck suggests you were at your new Lover's House earlier tonight am I right? How long has this Affair been going on Joe?" She stands up real close to him suddenly being intimidating but she didn't care she wanted answers.

Joe looked at her and thought of what to say he had been having an Affair for Months. But he didn't think she was smart enough to figure it out. He then admitted the Truth. " I am Cheating on you have been doing it for Months since last Spring you didn't even know about it you just thought I was at Work Working long hours. Her name is Layla Post and she lives across the Street we met while I was at Work one day.She's the Secretary. "

This hit me like a Ton of Bricks and it's the worst Betrayal ever. Did Austin Post know that his Wife is cheating on him? Has she even told him yet? Taylor felt so bad for Austin he did everything he could to provide for his Wife but yet it wasn't good enough. And she could also feel Anger and Burning Rage towards Joe and Layla for not only ripping one but two Marriages apart. "You two make me sick! Your not only tearing apart one Marriage your tearing apart Two! How is Austin going to deal with his Wife's Betrayal? He's got no idea what's going on!"

Taylor then got out her Suitcases and Joe tried to stop her from leaving. "It's over Joe. I am tired of being the other Woman you try to keep in case your Affair don't work out.
I'm done trying to stick around here and put up with you cheating. This is not what I signed on for I didn't Marry you to share you with another Woman. You'll hear from my Lawyer about Divorce Papers that will be drawn up." Joe watched as Taylor put as many Clothes in two Suitcases that she could.

"Do not change the Locks while I'm gone I will be back to get the rest of my things and if you so much give me any problems, I will get the Police to escort me to this House and they won't put up with any problems from you. Do not Destroy my things or I will see to it personally that you get locked up. I'll be in touch with the Divorce Proceedings" she then zipped up both Suitcases.

Joe just stood there starring at her he couldn't believe she was leaving. But their Short Term Marriage had run it's Course just like her Parents had said it would and her Brother. And him having an Affair for Months just really didn't help things. It had all started while she was away on Broadway plus singing in clubs on the Weekends she hadn't been around much. Joe couldn't handle the Fact that she wasn't around all that much. He wanted her to be just a Housewife so they could have a chance at a real normal life.

Taylor just glared at him there was nothing more to say to the Man she used to be in love with. For now he is just some Stranger standing in front of her and nothing more needed to be said. There wasn't anything that they could do to fix things. "I'll be in touch about the Divorce and in a few Days I'll come for the rest of my things and she better not be here." Taylor then made her way to the Door grabbing some other things and putting them in her Purse and the extra set of Keys she had to the House. Taking a look one last time at the Life they once had, Taylor sighed her heart broken and looked across the Street.

Layla was outside watering her Flowers like she was some perfect normal Housewife. But Taylor knew better she was a Backstabbing Neighbor who had an Affair with her Husband. And it was only a matter of when Taylor would see Austin again when she would tell him the terrible cold harded truth about his Wife.
