They're Not Dead

Taylor's Pov:

It had been a couple Months into our new Life when we got the most disturbing News. My Plan in having Joe and Layla both killed in a House Fire Backfired. I was in the Kitchen making us Dinner when the News came on Tv and they talked about the Mysterious Post House that had burned down and Human Remains was found.

The Reporter talks about the ongoing Investigation her name is Brenda and she's a Blonde and looks to be in her early Twenties. Reporters these Days have to fake to be on Tv. She started talking "And we have more information about who it was that killed at the Post House in the Fancy Neighborhood they lived in.We do I ow it wasn't Layla Post or Joe Alwyn that had Died instead it was People who the supposedly knew them Work Colleagues who were a Couple named Julie and Andrew Jameson.

So it looked like they had tried to befriend another Married Couple but they didn't agree to do something that they wanted to do so they wounded  up setting the Fire and killing them inside. It wasn't my Hitman that had done it if he didn't do it where was he?But we had our Numbers changed for privacy reasons so that Joe and Layla or anyone connected to them would even contact us.

But now when I think about it, we we're screwed. If Joe and Layla were still alive, that meant they were still onto us. They could be looking for us right now and we didn't even think twice about they could still be alive. I went into the Living Room and saw Austin was also watching the News Horrified. "What are we going to do now? They aren't dead! My Plan Backfired!"

Austin was startled by my sudden outburst. "Tay, you need to relax. They have no idea where we are we are living out of State and we haven't told anyone except selected Few that we trust. We are going to be alright. If one of them does decide to show up then we get the Cops involved if we have to".

Austin somehow knew to just calm me down I was practically nervous that those two would hunt us down like we are Roadkill. "I don't think you understand just how Dangerous they are they Killed a Couple they tried to be Friends with".I shuddered at that Couple dieing at their Murderous Hands.

Austin looked at me "Believe me Tay I do understand how Psychotic they are.But there's nothing we can do about it now unless they try something against us then we can do something about it." He had a point they currently hadn't showed up at our new place yet and there was still time to decide what could be done about them.

As if he could read my mind, Austin shook his head no. "No Taylor, you can not make the Hitman go back after them. You have a chance at living a normal life don't go Chaseing them and hiring another Hitman to kill them the Police will track them down and Arrest them with the evidence from that House. Taylor please don't do anything I don't want to lose you or risk you going to Prison for a long time or Worse".

He had a good reason for saying that. I didn't want to go to Prison for the rest of my life either over something stupid I've done so really them being alive still gave me and Austin another chance at a different life. And this one we were living in is a good life.
