Diego glanced at his phone, contemplating whether to share the news of the match with Maya. After a moment's hesitation, he decided to send her a voice message.
"Hey Maya, it's Diego," he said, his voice casual yet tinged with excitement. "I wanted to tell you about the game today. We had a massive win, 7-0 against SC Austria Lustenau!"
As he recounted the highlights of the match, Diego couldn't help but feel a surge of adrenaline rush through him once again. He described the electrifying atmosphere in the stadium, the adrenaline-pumping moments on the pitch, and the sheer joy of celebrating with his teammates after the final whistle.
"It was an amazing feeling," he continued, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "I wish you could have been there to experience it with me."

Diego headed back to his apartment to unwind. His phone buzzed with messages of congratulations from friends and family, but he also received a message from his teammate Luka:
Luka: "Hey Diego! Great game today! We're all getting together at my place to play FC24. Wanna join?"
Diego smiled, the idea of some friendly competition with his teammates sounded perfect. He quickly replied:
Diego: "Sounds great! I'll be there in 10 minutes."
Grabbing his jacket, Diego left his apartment and made his way to Luka's place, which was just a short walk away. The cool evening air was refreshing, and he could still feel the adrenaline from the match coursing through his veins.
When Diego arrived, Luka greeted him at the door with a wide grin. "Diego! Come on in. We're just setting up."
Inside, several of his teammates were already gathered around the large TV, the console buzzing with the sounds of FC24's main menu music. Pavlovic, Fernando, and a few others were lounging on the couches, controllers in hand.
"Look who decided to show up!" Pavlovic teased, throwing a playful jab at Diego.
Diego laughed. "I wouldn't miss this for the world."
They all settled in, and the game began. Diego was paired with Fernando, while Luka and Pavlovic formed the opposing team. The room was filled with laughter, playful banter, and the occasional shout of frustration as the virtual match progressed.
Diego and Fernando chose Inter Milan as their club while Luka and Pavlovic chose Liverpool, they were ready to kick off.

"Come on, Diego! You're better on the real field than in the game!" Luka joked after Diego missed an easy shot.
Diego grinned. "Just warming up. Watch this!"
He made a brilliant pass to Fernando, who scored a spectacular goal. The room erupted in cheers, and Diego couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with his teammates. Despite the intensity of their professional lives, moments like these reminded him of the simple joys of friendship and competition.
As the night went on, they played several more matches, switching teams and joking about each other's skills (or lack thereof). Diego felt completely at ease, enjoying the blend of casual fun and friendly rivalry.
After a particularly intense match that ended in a draw, they decided to take a break. Luka brought out some snacks and drinks, and they all gathered around the coffee table, talking and laughing.
