Logans POV

I walked into math class, breathing a breath of fresh air to finally be in my favorite classroom. I sit down at my desk, looking at the empty desk next to me in the hopes to see him. He wasn't here yet, which made my heart sink. Where was he? I pull out my math notebook, writing down the notes. I try to focus on what I'm writing, but I just can't. All I can think about is him, and why he isn't here yet. He's never late.

I slide my notebook to the side of my desk. I hear the door open, as I turn my head to see who had walked in. Justin walks into the room with his paper calculators in his hand. Oh, how I loved his love for paper calculators.

Justin sits down next to me, our legs lightly bumping into each other. I turn my head away to hide the flush on my cheeks, my heart beating as our legs touch. I twist my body to look at him, looking at him in the eyes.

"Why were you late, Justin? I was worried about you, I thought you were sick or something." I questioned Justin, a concerned expression on my facial features. I lean towards him, putting my hand on his desk.

"Oh, I was at a doctors appointment, nothing that important." Justin replies, not even looking over at me.

A small frown forms on my lips, as I turn to face forward. I give a small nod of my head in acknowledgement, just to let him know I had heard him. I take out my Minecraft water bottle, taking a small sip of water.

I just wanted him to notice me.

I think to myself, as I slide my Minecraft water bottle back into my matching Minecraft backpack. I turn my head back to Justin in the hopes that he was looking at me, but, unfortunately, he was working on his paper calculators. He was always making those damn things, no matter how many times Mrs. Smith told him not to. It both infuriated me and made me smile at the same time.

Justin hands me a paper calculator he had recently made, a drawing of Minecraft Steve on it. I smile at him, before I slide the paper calculator into my Minecraft lunch box.

"Thanks, Justin...you didn't have too." I mumble, looking down at my lap. My cheeks turn a fiery red, as I look at Mrs. Smiths bored.

I take out my pencil, preparing to begin my note taking. I struggle to focus on my notes, as I begin writing Justin's name around my notebook. I scribble little hearts around his name before I can even realize. My eyes widen as I realize, as I put my pencil down on the table.

I look over at Justin to insure he didn't see my writing, before I quickly turn the page. I couldn't let him see that, ever. If he saw that, he would never be able to see me the same again. He would never love me like I love him.

"Alrighty, kids. It's time to partner up and begin our projects. Everyone pick their partners." Mrs. Smith says, as she starts giving out the papers for our project.

I turn my head to Justin, raising my eyebrows at him as if to ask if we could be partners. Justin, of course, understood what I was asking, as he nods back at me. I take the papers from Mrs. Smith, as I write our names at the top of the paper.

Logan + Justin

I write at the top of the paper, smiling as I stare at the words on the page. I slide the paper to Justin, looking up at him with a wide grin on my lips. Justin doesn't seem to notice the double meaning to what I had wrote, making my smug expression fall somewhat. I let out a small sigh, as I turn my head away.

"What do you plan on doing for our math project, Justin?" I ask Justin, not even looking at him as I question him.

Justin turns to me with a somewhat confused expression, his eyebrows furrowed. "Project?" He asks me, before he looks down at the paper in front of me. "What project?"

I sigh, leaning back in my seat somewhat. "Our major math project, Justin. Were you paying any attention to Mrs. Smith?" *I say in an annoyed tone, as I turn my head to glare at him. It's hard to be mad at him when he looks at me like that...so my expression softens, a small smile on my lips.

"I was making paper iPhones...I didn't realize that we had a project." Justin sighs along with me, a small pout on his lips.

That pout on his lips make me want to pull him into a hug and comfort him. I can't stand to see that sad expression on his beautiful face. My heart feels like it's gonna explode.

"Don't worry about it, Justin...I understand you like your iPhones. How about I help you with this project?" I lean closer into him, my hand subtly brushing against his leg as I look up at him.

Justin's cheeks flush. A satisfied smirk spreads across my lips as I see the blush on his cheeks. I continue to brush my hands against his leg as I explain our project to him.

"So, we're going to make a presentation about..." I explain the project to him, trying to touch him as much as possible before he noticed. I subtly rub my thumb over his leg, my mouth right near his ear as I explain the rules to the project.

"Oh, that's pretty simple. It can't be that hard, even if I don't have the notes." Justin says, not even looking at my hand on his leg. He looks down at me, his eyes looking in two different directions.

I loved his eyes, they were always so pretty, even if they never looked in the same direction...or at me.
