"Hurry up, Mom! You're driving to slow!" Sandra exclaimed, nearly jumping out of her seat in the car.
"I will drive the speed limit, and if you don't like it then you can walk," her mom replied.
Colorful tents came into view, followed by rides next to the road. "Thanks, Mom!" Sandra called back to the car, walking to the ticket booth.
Before pulling away, Sandra's mom shouted, "Remember, don't eat the cotton candy!" But Sandra didn't hear her, she was to busy buying an all-night pass.
"Hey girl!" Mia, Sandra's friend said.
"Oh, hi! What do you want to ride first?"
"I was thinking we could start off with the Ferris Wheel and work our way up to scarier rides."
"Sounds like a plan!"
Moments later, Mia and Sandra were at the highest point of the Wheel. "Dude! This is freaking high!"
"I know, Mia! Hey... what's that?" Sandra asks, pointing at something on the ground.
"Huh? Oh. Looks like your average clown."
"Clowns are terrifying."
"Don't be a wimp! Come on, after this we can get some food."
Once the ride ended, the two girls headed off to the concession stands. There were booths selling hotdogs, funnel cake, ice cream, popcorn, and much more. While Mia stood in line for a caramel apple, Sandra searched for a snack.
"Hmm maybe an Oreo on a stick? Oo! Corndogs."
"Get yer' cotton candy! Cavities on a stick!"
Walking towards the shouting vendor, Sandra pulled out her wallet. Her mouth drools, seeing the fluffy sugar.
"What was it Mom said? Something about cotton candy. Oh well."
"That'll be $3.99," the vendor says, handing Sandra the food.
'Thank you!"
"No, thank you," the man says.
Sandra raises an eyebrow, shrugs and walks away.
"Where you at, Mia?"
"Over here!" Mia waves her over. "Oh, I see you got cotton candy."
"Yep."
"Well, want to go on a secret ride?"
"Secret ride? Yeah!"
Mia takes her hand, pulling her behind the tents. She motions for Sandra to climb into the seat of a roller coaster.
"I didn't know the carnival had coasters," Sandra says."
Mia replies, "Yeah, they don't use this one often. Hey, I gotta take a leak, I'll meet you back here in a bit."
"Oh...kay. I'll sit here I guess."
Mia leaves, with Sandra alone. Sandra pulls the bar up over her head and fiddles her thumbs.
"Hehehe...."
"Who's there?!" Sandra calls out, scared by the noise. She hears a soft shuffling behind a tent. It comes closer, picking up speed.
Sandra struggles to climb out of the ride, but its stuck. "H-help!"
"Didn't your mother tell you not to eat cotton candy?"
"Ahhhhhh!" Sandra screams as a clown lunges at her from the shadows. It has razor sharp claws that dig into her flesh. Within seconds, Sandra is torn to ribbons.

"It's okay, Mia. It's not your fault," Sandra's mom replies. Thinking to herself, "If only she listened to me. Cotton candy brings the monsters out in our family."
A police officer walks up to Sandra's mom saying, "She died of self inflicted wounds. We can't figure out how she cut herself so deeply."
"Oh, I know. Trust me."
"Huh Whatever you say miss."
