I'm genuinely happy that Brooke and I have become friends again, although I do feel a bit of awkwardness between us, the awkwardness inevitably being just me still being in love with my old best friend. She's on the Cheerios now which is so fucking hard,the way that the uniform hugs her curves perfectly and how when we were joking around yesterday her smile made me smile. Brooke has a hold on me, since she left I haven't been in any relationship, I always believed we'd get married and as I quote Brooklyn Hudson 'have lots of babies' which I really looked forward to one day.

I fix my ponytail and put on my uniform and head outside to meet Brooke. "Hey Brooke!"I smile unusually giddy. "Hey Tana"She replies. I take in her whole appearance, her high ponytail is curled perfectly and her uniform hugs her perfectly. Her makeup is natural but you can still tell she has a little on. Everything about her is perfect. "Fuck off Kurt, I'm not bringing you to school, Finn is!"She groans. "Actually, she's bringing me Kurt, sorry"I smile innocently. "She's desperate to get me alone"Brooke jokingly teases but she was telling the truth, I want to find out her feelings about me. I get into the passenger seat of her car and she gets in the driver. Kurt's frowning in the driveway as we pull out. I lean my head against the window and Brooke quietly sings along the song on the radio.

"You should join Glee"I blurt. "I don't think that's for me, public singing isn't my thing"She responds. "But you're so good Brooke plus it'll give me an extra beautiful friendly face"I plead. "Maybe, I'll think about it"She gives in, when we both get out of her car, I run around and plant a kiss on her cheek. "I've maths"We both say. "Good"I smirk and link my pinkie with hers.

I walk through the school hallway with all eyes on us. "Why's everyone staring?"I whisper.She just shrugs, a smile shining on her face. "Is Santana Lopez and the new girl dating?"A curly frizzy haired boy asks with a microphone and a cameraman behind him. "No"Santana and I reply in unison. "Is in true that the new girl is the little sister of Finn Hudson and Kurt Hummel, the new glee recruits?"He asks. "No,I'm Finns twin sister"I respond. "Is that all Ben Israel?"Santana asks. "Just one more, is it true that girl Hudson is making Santanas ice heart melt?"He quizzes.Santana hits the camera away and pulls me away.

"You're no response just labeled as a response"I state. "Oh shush, you know I've a soft spot for you"Santana smiles. I plant a kiss on her forehead. "It's okay Santana, you're allowed to be nice". "Hey, Santana Lopez doesn't do nice"She glares. I squish her cheeks causing her to laugh. The bell rings and we head straight to class, taking a seat beside each other. "Since when do you sit with anyone other than Quinn and Britt?"Mercedes smirks. "Shut it Cedes". I lay my head on her shoulder and watch as Brittany and Quinn high five. Santanas head leans against mine and we listen to the teacher ramble on.

"So Brooke, are you single?"Punk asks. "I'm not interested in you"I dismiss. Santana hides her laugh in my hair at my rejection towards Puck, he just shuts up and turns around. Santana takes a deep breath and whispers against my ear "what if I asked you to go on a date with me, after school". I feel my cheeks heat up "depends what does a date mean for you?"I ask. "It means a step closer to us becoming official and finally living out our childhood dream". "To get married and have lots of babies?"I joke. She laughs and nods at me. "I'd love to do all of that, including the date"I agree. "We've lost too much time, I don't want to waste another minute". I agree with Santana and kiss her cheek causing her to blush.

She caresses my back and turns around to tell Quinn she won't be at glee rehearsal today. "What's the whole glee club thing about?"I question. "We mainly sing, dance and discuss things but then we compete in competitions"Brittany explains. "I might join just to see you dance in your uniform"I whisper seductively into Santanas ear. "You don't have to join glee club to see that, just come over to my house"She flirts back. "Keep at that talk and I may just come over tonight"I retort. "Then I may just have to keep at this talk"She winks. "Are we being part of some kind of sex talk?"Mercedes asks. We both blush and the girls burst out laughing. "Shhhh!"the teacher scolds. I roll my eyes and hide in Santanas shoulder. "Leave us alone, we've been reunited and have lost too much time"She defends.

The class bell rings and Santana pulls me out of the class.We both walk to history, being slightly early and first there, there's no teachers either. "This feels like a dream"Santana whispers kissing my hand. "It's real Tana, I'm finally back"I promise. "Finally"She agrees.

History class was long and boring but we managed to get through it and now we're outside, practising. Santana and I are paired up and she's helping me stretch my back. I'm bend over backwards as she pulls to loosen my back. "Breadstix is booked for four"Santana tells me. I stand up straight again and do the same thing for Santana.

Santana meets me after school in the carpark and we both head to Breadstix and I follow Santanas directions. "Do you think we will work out this time?"Santana nervously quizzes. "I'm not planning on moving away again for a very long time, so yes"I answer. "But that means you're planning on moving"Santana frowns. "Yes, I want to move back to New York"I explain. "If you move back to New York, can I come?"she mutters. "You're obviously coming Tana, We can renovate my grandmas old house to match your dream house, the house was left to me anyways".

Santana smiles and claps her hand happily. "I'm never leaving you again"I state and Santana giggles. "Forever?" "Forever!". We're both grinning and enjoying each others company. We arrive at Breadstix and we sit at the table reserved under Lopez. We sit down at the table and Santana is blushing. "Are you okay?". "Yeah, I'm just happy, I never thought we'd get this opportunity"She admits fiddling with her fingers. "Santana, I promised I'd return to you and I meant it" she nods and kisses my hand. "Do you wanna have a sleepover tonight, it is a Friday night"She asks. I agree and text my parents to make them aware. "Finns gotten super tall, and even more annoying"Santana jokes. "I don't even know how he got a girlfriend"I add. "Well Rachel is a bit full of herself, she thinks she's the top bitch in glee"Santana states.

"She seems it, she was very confident walking through the school halls". "You haven't met the others yet, Artie,Tina,Mike and Sugar plus your brothers joined glee club"Santana reveals. "Is all your friends in Glee?"I ask. "Yep, we're like a big happy family although I'd prefer if you were in it". "If I join, promise me you'll allow me to see you dancing"I smirk. "Yes obviously but you don't have to join glee club for that"She winks and distracts herself with the menu. We place our orders and when our food comes out we eat it in a comfortable silence with a few small conversations.
