I had put my phone down on the side table when my mom called me. I made my way downstairs to the living room, where I saw my mom holding a shiny, three-tiered tiffin carrier. She must want me to deliver it to someone.

"Is there anything I can help with?" I asked, smiling at her.

"Can you please take this to our new neighbour?" She handed me the tiffin carrier with a warm smile that deepened the wrinkles around her eyes. As soon as I took hold of the carrier, I was surprised by its weight. I wondered what delicious food she had packed inside.

"The neighbour lives at the house with the blue gate. You know where that is, right?" she asked.

"Yes, I do." I nodded and headed towards the door.

"THE NEIGHBOUR IS A BOY! AND HE'S QUITE CUTE!" my mom shouted after me, causing me to rush towards the house with the blue gate, ignoring the blazing sun.

When I arrived, I took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell. Moments later, the door opened, revealing a boy who peeked out. My mom was right—he was cute.

"Hi, what can I do for you?" he asked, stepping out to meet me.

"H-hi! I'm your new neighbour... and my mom wanted me to bring you this food," I stammered, thrusting the tiffin carrier towards him before quickly turning to leave.

"T-thanks!" he called after me. My heart raced, and my cheeks felt hot. His face was too adorable for me to handle.

When I got back home, my mom asked, "Did you deliver the carrier?"

"Yes, I did," I replied, trying to stay composed.

"You must like him, right, Minju?" My mom teased me. I spun around, feeling my face heat up.

"NO, I DON'T, MOM!" I yelled, running upstairs to my room and burying my face in my silk pillow. What a way to start the day.

"Yes, yes... I'll buy it later. I'm at the bakery now, Mom. Okay, talk to you later. Bye!" I ended the call and slipped my phone into my jacket pocket. I walked up to the counter and glanced at the menu above.

"Hi, what would you like to order?" the cashier asked.

"Can I have– YOU!" I exclaimed, recognizing the cute boy from next door behind the counter.

"You..." he said, trailing off as if trying to remember my name.

"I'm Minju, Choi Minju. Your new neighbour."

"Oh, I'm Kim Woonhak. You can call me Woonhak," he said, smiling. His smile was dazzling, and I couldn't help but blush.

"What a nice name," I said, feeling flustered.

"Thank you... Anyway, what would you like to order?"

"Can I have two cinnamon rolls and two strawberry cakes?" I asked, holding up two fingers.
