"Come on, it'll be easy."
"I'm not worried about that. I just hate people," Lauren responded, trudging herself through the crowded mall. "And a job requires talking to people."
"You'll be fine, come on," Camila said, gently tugging Lauren in through the mall doors. Lauren was on her way to find a job since her savings of money have just been lowering instead of towering. So, she was going to fill an application to her nearby tanning salon.
Once both girls found their way in, they walked over to the salon and immediately saw a tan boy who seemed to be the same age as the two.
"Hi, can I get an application?"
"Sure, beautiful," he smiled, handing a couple of papers from a stack to Lauren. The small comment was enough to get Camila jealous. Lauren took a pen and walked to a bench right outside of the salon.
"Watch it..." Camila said through gritted teeth, trying to find his name tag. "...Jake. She's mine."
"Hey," he started, putting his hands up in defeat. "She's all yours. But I can admire beautiful women when I see them."
"Yeah yeah yeah," Camila responded and began walking towards the bench where Lauren was filling out her paper work.
"Call me up for a threesome!" Camila heard Jake shout. Camila turned around once more to see him staring right back, laughing when Camila rolled her eyes and then averted her attention back to her girlfriend.
"And you thought this was going to be hard for me," Lauren laughed, her eyes still glued to the papers, evidently having heard the conversation Jake and Camila had.
"Shut up," Camila responded and looked up when she heard a loud voice.
"Hey chicas!" Dinah shouted from across the mall with Normani and Ally by her side.
"Hey," Camila responded and watched as the girls approached her and Lauren. Lauren got up from her seat and shot the girls a quick smile before walking back into the tanning salon.
"Here," Lauren said while handing Jake the papers.
"Thanks," he winked and handed Lauren a piece of paper. Lauren read the piece of paper while walking back and immediately handed it to Dinah.
"Here, have his number," Lauren said while giving the paper to Dinah. Dinah looked up to see the guy working behind the register one more time and only smirked.
"He's hot!"
"Hey, shut up Mani he's mine," Dinah argued while slightly shoving Normani. Ally watched the two fight and eventually caught up to the walking couple.
"Ice cream?" Ally asked.
"You got it," Camila responded and began walking towards the food court. Eventually, all girls made it to the food court and got ice cream. They were now sitting on a table, talking about the most random of things.
"So," Normani started, shoving a spoonful of ice cream into Dinah's mouth. "We should go watch a movie."
"Which one?" Lauren asked.
"We should watch something sad. I'm in the mood to cry," Ally giggled.
So, with that, they finished their ice cream and made their way to the movie theatre. They sat all the way in the back row considering no one at all was in the theatre with them besides an old couple in the front row.
Ally sat in between the four girls; Lauren and Camila were to her left while Normani and Dinah were to her right.
Right when the movie started, Camila turned to look at the other girls. Normani and Dinah were whispering to each other while Ally was invested on the large screen. Camila then turned to her left side to meet Lauren's eyes staring right back with a smile plastered on her face.
