Two years have passed since Tanjiro's encounter with Giyu, that set him on a perilous journey. With unyielding determination, Tanjiro honed his skills and finally grasped the hilt of his black nichirin sword. His inaugural mission thrust him into a village, where he battled with swamp demons. Next, he ventured to the bustling streets of Asakusa, only to cross paths with the demon progenitor Muzan.

Along the way, Tanjiro forged unbreakable bonds with his comrades Zenitsu and Inosuke, and together they faced formidable foes. Through every triumph and tribulation, Tanjiro's unwavering dedication to finding a cure for his beloved sister Nezuko, who has stood by his side throughout his odyssey, remains his guiding light and driving force.

The trio's next mission led them to the foreboding Mt. Natagumo, the eerie lair of the demon spider family. Inosuke fearlessly confronted the monstrous father demon, but his bravery nearly proved fatal. Just in the nick of time, Giyu burst onto the scene, his sword flashing in the dim light as he struck down the demon, saving Inosuke from certain doom. 

Meanwhile, Zenitsu, being the sleep fighter, battled the elder brother demon in sleep, his thunder breathing technique shocking the latter. Though he emerged victorious, the poison's effects soon overwhelmed him, leaving him limp and helpless. But then Shinobu arrived just in time to administer the antidote, reviving Zenitsu from the brink of death. 

Tanjiro, meanwhile, faced off against the mother demon, killing her. Next, he met the younger son, Rui, one of the Twelve Demon Moons, whose cunning and ferocity pushed Tanjiro to his limits. As the battle raged on, Tanjiro unleashed the technique, the Hinokami Kagura, a whirlwind of movement that left Rui reeling. Yet, even this proved insufficient to vanquish the demon, and Tanjiro found himself on the defensive until Giyu's timely arrival turned the tide of the battle once more.

Rui, the demon, dies and his body disintegrates, but his spirit reunites with his parents in the afterlife. He apologizes for his sins and is comforted by their love, finally finding the bond he had been seeking. Despite his demonic form and actions, Rui's story ends with a poignant and redemptive moment of family reunion and forgiveness.
