As Tanjiro emerged from his room in the morning, his gaze fell upon the one person he had been longing to see. His red eyes lingered on the familiar yet unfamiliar form of the Moon Hashira, who stood beneath the cherry blossom tree.

The falling sakura petals adorned her head like a delicate crown, while her moon haori billowed around her. The colors of the haori, ranging from glaucous to sarcoline, were both familiar and rare, evoking a sense of wonder in Tanjiro.

The Moon Hashira's fame within the Demon Slayer Corps was well-known, and Tanjiro had heard tales of her majestic beauty. Now, face to face with her, he understood why. Yet, instead of awe or intimidation, he felt a motherly warmth emanating from her.Her voice, in particular, reminded him of his own mother's, filling him with a sense of comfort and peace.

"Kamado-kun!" His thoughts were interrupted by her gentle call, and he couldn't help but smile his usual cheerful smile. He rushed towards her, his eyes shining with excitement. "Tsukio-san! Nice to see you!" Tanjiro exclaimed, bowing down in respect, his gesture fluid and sincere."How are you, Kamado kun? Your wounds are still fresh, I suppose?" she asked, taking a seat on the engawa, her voice gentle as a summer breeze, yet with a boldness that commanded attention.

Tanjiro nodded, taken aback by her directness. "Y-yes, Tsukio-san. I'm still recovering."She gestured gracefully, her hand extending in a fluid motion. "Please, take a seat, Kamado kun." She indicated the engawa, her eyes inviting him to sit.

Tanjiro bowed slightly, feeling a sense of gratitude. "Thank you, Tsukio-san." He settled onto the engawa.

Her eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze piercing. "I can imagine. Fighting a Lower Moon demon at Mt. Natagumo. Then the hashira meeting too....You must have been exhausted."Tanjiro smiled wryly. "That's an understatement, Tsukio-san."She chuckled, her laughter like music. "I bet. Well, you're safe now. You can rest here for as long as you need."

"Thank you, Tsukio-san...not just for your kindness, but also for standing up for Nezuko. It means a lot to me." said Tanjiro his eyes filled with gratitude.

Samayo's expression was tinged with regret. "Kamado-kun, I'm sorry...for kicking you, and for wanting to kill you and your sister Nezuko at first. I was blinded by my duty as a demon slayer, and I didn't see the truth."

She took a deep breath, her voice filled with emotion. "But when Shinazugawa-san stabbed Nezuko, something inside me snapped. I couldn't just stand by and watch her suffer, no matter what she was. So I defended her, and by extension, you too, Kamado-kun."

"I know I went against my friends, my brothers, and everything I believed in to stand up for you both. But I couldn't help myself. I had to act, no matter the cost."
