A few hours later, my IV drip was finished and A nurse walked in without saying a word she gently pulled it out and said "you are good to go". I was finally free to go home. As I entered the house, I saw my mom in the parlor, being all lovey-dovey with her client as usual. I couldn't tolerate it and didn't have the guts to greet them, so I decided to go straight to my room. They also ignored my presence she is likely still pretending to be the angry mom. I went to my room and laid on my bed, and began thinking about what would happen the next day at school. I couldn't take a day off because no teacher would say, "Oh, she's sick, so let's just let her be." They would still mark me absent and make me write harder tests, forgetting that I was the one who was sick. Like I said, no one cares about me. I eventually fell asleep without eating because I had no appetite.

The next morning, I got dressed and went to school. Sitting at my desk, Nala walked up to me.

"Hello, Leech, how are you feeling?" she asked with a fake concern.

I stared at her, glaring without answering. She poked my head. "I'm asking you a question, idiot."

"I'm fine, thank you," I mumbled.

She went back to her seat after giving me a snobbish smirk. I ignored her. Soon, Mr. Sam walked in.

"All right, class, have your seats. I have an announcement," he said. We all sat down, listening eagerly. He brought out a paper, and this paper was our future.

The next day, early in the morning, I got dressed and went out the front door. There was a bus waiting for me, filled with students from my class. I entered the bus and sat behind the five teachers who were supposed to protect and supervise us, hoping I might be safe. But you know how that turned out. Nala bullied me, and Stephen tried to save me which worked as she finally went back to her seat. You know that from my previous flashback.

On the long drive to the zoo, yh our future is a road trip. our bus broke down in the middle of nowhere. There were no houses, no trees and no signals. Only a forest with huge trees surrounded us. We were in the middle of a forest, with nothing but the sounds of crows, birds and crickets. We all got off the bus, frustrated, waiting for the driver who went to find a repairman. No cars passed by for almost three hours. We were completely stranded.

I looked around and saw a figure deep in the woods. It was massive, at least ten feet tall, and looked like a beast. I could see its bloody red eyes glaring at me.

"Who is there?" I yelled, but nobody answered. My classmates turned to me, frightened.

Nala sneered, "Who the hell are you talking to weirdo?"

I pointed to the direction of the beast. "There's someone there."

"Who is there?" I yelled again, trying to capture the attention of that figure. Finally, a giant man, ten times taller than any of us, emerged sending chills down our spines. He was shirtless, with tribal scars all over his body, and only a piece of cloth covering his private parts. His eyes were as red as a blood moon, and he was as dark as charcoal. He looked like he hadn't bathed in years and stank too.

"Do you need help?" he asked in such a gentle voice.

All the teachers walked up to him. "Yes, we do. We're stranded. Can you help us?" one of them asked.

"Sure. I will send one of my men to find a repairman and your driver. For now, follow me to shelter and have food while you wait."

Turning around, we saw three more men exactly like him behind us. One of them walked off, presumably to find help. We followed the giants into the woods. As we walked deeper, I asked, "Why do you stay in the woods?"

"Because it is my home," he replied.

"How do you survive without any food or water? We've been walking for hours, and I haven't seen any trees with fruits, any crops or animals except for the crows flying above us."

He turned to me and said, "We have our ways,You'll see soon enough. In fact you are just in time for harvesting session"

Harvesting season what harvesting when they are no crops??
