As BINI's popularity soared, the whirlwind of activities left little time for personal matters. My feelings for Jhoanna lingered just beneath the surface, but I decided to avoid her as much as possible without being overtly dismissive. Gwen advised me to find new hobbies during my free time, so I threw myself into various interests, trying to keep my mind occupied.

However, my inner detective couldn't stay dormant for long. I began to notice subtle shifts in the dynamics among the group members, and my curiosity was piqued. It wasn't just Jhoanna and me; there seemed to be tension brewing between Ate Aiah and Mikha, as well as between Gwen and Sheena and Ate Colet. What is happening in this group?

---

One day, after what felt like an eternity of awkwardness in the studio, I finally saw an opportunity to break the ice. "Uy, Mikhaiah, comeback!" I called out, my voice cutting through the room's hum. Everyone fell silent, their eyes darting between Ate Aiah and Mikha.

The room erupted into a chorus of teasing remarks. Gwen and Ate Aiah exchanged a look of understanding.

Later on, I saw Ate Colet and Ate Aiah talking during break time. Their conversation seemed intense, and when Ate Aiah returned, she looked visibly upset. Gwen greeted her with a soft, comforting gesture, which was sweet, but Sheena's face darkened with jealousy. Ate Aiah subtly signaled Gwen to go to her, obviously trying to diffuse the situation.

During lunch, the tension reached a boiling point when Sheena announced a notification on Ate Aiah's phone about Marlo Mortel. Everyone stopped eating, curiosity etched on their faces.

"Grabe ka na talaga, Ate Aiah!" Jhoanna interjected, her tone playfully accusatory.

"MarAiah layag na ba?" I teased, unable to resist the chance to poke fun.

"Hoy! There's no MarAiah, only MalAiah," Ate Maloi chimed in, sounding annoyed but clearly joking.

Mikha, however, looked pissed off at the entire situation.

"Uy, ano ba, guys. Classmates lang kami," Ate Aiah said defensively.

"Si Fons na lang," Ate Colet suggested, a mischievous smirk on her face.

"Yiee!" The group erupted into playful teasing, their laughter filling the room.

This is getting interesting, really.

The next morning, another layer of tension became apparent between Ate Aiah and Mikha. Gwen and Sheena seemed to be at odds as well. Ate Colet's casual praise about Gwen looking beautiful didn't help matters. It was all so crazy!

The hectic week continued, with BINI growing more rapidly than we ever imagined. The busyness provided a welcome distraction from the Jhoanna situation and my detective mode, which had been temporarily put on hold.

During one practice, I noticed Ate Aiah looking particularly disturbed and zoning out, despite Mikha's best efforts to cheer her up. Concerned, I decided to invite her for a coffee after rehearsal.

"Hey, Ate Aiah, you okay? You seem a bit off today."

"Yeah, just tired, I guess."

"How about we grab a coffee after rehearsal? You could use a break."

To my surprise, Jhoanna joined us as well. I had unknowingly invited her, and although it slipped my mind, I realized I missed her company.

At the café, as we sipped our coffee, Jhoanna and I teased each other relentlessly. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at one of her jokes, then gently nudged her with a laugh. Jhoanna pretended to be annoyed.

"Seriously, Staku, you have the worst taste in music," Jhoanna teased.

"Oh, please, you love my playlists and you know it," I shot back.

Then, I leaned in closer to Ate Aiah. "So, Ate Aiah, what's really going on? You know you can talk to us."

"It's nothing, really. Just... a lot on my mind."

I gave her a knowing look but didn't press further. Instead, I took a selfie of the three of us, capturing the rare moment of joy on my face. Later, I posted it to my Instagram story with the caption, "Coffee break with my favorite (Ate Aiah) and hindi ko kilala ☕️❤️."

As the days went by, I continued to observe the group's interactions, trying to piece together the puzzle of their emotions. Despite my efforts to move on from Jhoanna, I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that she was yearning for my attention. It was confusing, but I knew I had to stay focused on my own growth and the success of BINI.

One evening, as we were all gathered in the practice room, I noticed Jhoanna watching me with an intensity that made my heart race. She quickly looked away when our eyes met, but the moment lingered in my mind.

"Stakuri, you're spacing out again," Gwen said, snapping her fingers in front of my face.

"Sorry, just thinking," I replied, shaking my head to clear my thoughts.

"Thinking about what?" Jhoanna asked, her tone casual but her eyes probing.

"Just... everything," I said vaguely, not wanting to delve into the complexities of my feelings in front of everyone.

Jhoanna raised an eyebrow but didn't push further. Instead, she gave me a small, understanding smile that made my heart ache with unspoken words.

As we resumed our practice, I couldn't help but steal glances at her, wondering if there was more to her actions than met the eye. Was it possible that she was feeling the same way, struggling with emotions she couldn't quite articulate?

---

One day after practice, as we were all preparing to leave, I overheard Gwen and Sheena in a heated argument outside the studio.

"Bebe, why do you always have to be so nice to everyone? It feels like you're trying to replace me," Sheena's voice trembled with frustration.

"No, Bebe. I'm not. Isn't this what you wanted me to do? To be more open to others?" Gwen replied, her voice steady but with an undercurrent of hurt.

Their argument drew the attention of the others, and soon, Ate Colet and Ate Maloi were trying to mediate. The tension in the air was palpable, and I knew this was more than just a simple disagreement.

Later that evening, I found myself alone with Jhoanna in the practice room. The others had left, and the silence between us was heavy with unspoken words.

"Jho, usap tayo?" I finally mustered the courage to break the silence.

"Sure, what's up?" she replied, her eyes meeting mine with a mix of curiosity and concern.

"I've been noticing a lot of tension in the group lately. And... I've been avoiding you, not because I want to, but because I don't know how to deal with my feelings."

Jhoanna's eyes softened, and she took a step closer. "I've noticed. And I miss our friendship. Whatever you're feeling, we can work through it together. We're a team, remember?"

Her words brought a sense of relief, and for the first time in weeks, I felt a glimmer of hope.

"Thanks, Jho. I appreciate that," I said, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders.

As we stood there, the complexities of our relationships and the group's dynamics seemed a little less daunting.
