(Still PALMER POV)

We were now in the St.Paul Airport.

Just like before, when we got into the airport, I grabbed Bethany's hand. "Don't let go," I told her. I ran into the crowds. Ducking under people the whole time. After searching and searching, I found the exit. I burst out the door with Bethany. Phew. I let go of her hand.

"My parents said they'd pick us both up," Bethany said dreamily smiling. She started slowly leaning towards me.

I loved the way her emerald eyes sparkled. I was now an inch from her face. I was about to kiss her when I suddenly heard a honk. I took a step to the side, the curb, to see if it was her parents. Bethany suddenly fell over.

"Bethany!" I exclaimed. I helped her up. "Are you ok?"

"Ya. Fine," she said dusting herself off. She looked a little annoyed. Was it something I did? I looked at the car that honked. It was her folks. I smiled. They stopped right by us. They smiled back and waved.

"Let's go," I said walking to her car. I opened the back door and scooted to the end seat. I left it open for her. She came in. Bethany took a seat in the middle, right next to me.

"How was your trip honey?" her Mom said, addressing Bethany.

"Good!" she replied happily. Her Mom looked back at us. She then gave us a little frown.

"Where's Zoey?" she asked. Bethany gasped. Oh crap. We left her!

"She's still in the airport! How could I forget? I'm such a bad friend!" Bethany squealed.

"Don't worry, let's just park. Then we can go and look for her," Bethany's dad said calmly. Mrs.Gable liked the idea so she drove us into the parking lot.

I can't believe I forgot all about her! This whole trip was really based on her coming with! I feel like such a butt right now.

----ZOEY POV-----~~~~

~~~~~
I got off the plane and made my way to the airport. I watched as Palmer took Bethany's hand as they ran off. That literally broke my heart in two. They left me. I was just about to break down in tears when suddenly some little girl stood in front of me.
"Where did you get all those cuts?" she said wide eyed. I blushed and wiped my eyes, thinking I had tears. Feeling uncomfortable, I ran off. I should go get Danger now. It should get my mind off of being ditched, again. I wanted to cry for the second time. I was walking towards the Luggage Pickup when I was stopped, again. And who did I see?
Tristan. How did HE get Here? What the heck!
"Hi Zoey!" he said excitedly. I gave him a confused glare. He liked me but I didn't. I don't even want to be friends with him anymore. I looked at him, he actually looked scared now! Looks really do kill.
"Why did you follow me here?" I asked harshly. I didn't want to be mean but......
"I wanted to, be with you," he said slowly and cautiously. Wow, just wow. He liked me THAT much?! Sweet but I didn't like him back.
"Ookk, I have to go get Danger sooo...." I said trailing off.
"Can I come!"
I sighed. I walked off, motioning for him to follow. He ran over to my side. We went all the way till we got a circle conveyer belt. After some time of searching, I found the kennel where Danger was in. I picked up the fairly small cage and carried it off. I tried to ignored him.
I had to find Bethany and Palmer. But, what about Tristan? He was still following me around. I navigated my way to the doors. I went out. I didn't see them. I sighed, where could they be?! I softly moaned. I didn't want to be stuck in MN!
I was lost. I wanted to cry (and yes, for the THIRD time)but not in front of Tristan. "Wait, did you lose Palmer and Bethany?!" Tristan said.
"Ya," I said admitting it.
"Oh," he said. Now what? I couldn't find them. I was stuck. Suddenly, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around. It was Bethany. My whole face lifted into a glowing smile. I hugged her.
"I'm soooooo sorry Zoey! I'll won't forget you!" she said hugging me back. I squeezed her. Bethany suddenly jumped away. Oops, too hard, right?
"What are you doing here Tristan!" she said alarmed. Oh, it wasn't my fault.
"I...just, came," he said simply and slowly. My friend just stared at him, wide eyed. "Soooo, can I stick with you guys........now that I'm here?" he asked a little desperate. Poor Tristan, but I wouldn't help him.
Bethany didn't know what to do. Her face showed it. I almost felt the same way as her.
"Tristan!" someone called from behind. I saw it was Palmer. He ran over to us with Bethany's parents close behind.
"Zoey!" Mrs. Gable yelled over. She opened the doors with Mr.Gable, and joined our "circle of talking".
"How did you get here?" Palmer asked Tristan. Here we go again.
"Plane," Tristan replied. "I-I sneaked on," he stuttered.
"Oh," Palmer said shortly.
"Zoey! It's so good to see you again! Hope there's no tension from last time...." Mrs. Gable trailed off. I turned my attention back to her. Oh ya, orphanage, leaving me behind, blah blah blah.
"It's ok," I said. Bethany's mom gave me a smile. I smiled back.
"Tristan......you have to go back," Bethany said whispering into his ear. It was loud enough for me only, to hear. I guess she didn't want her parents hearing. They would, for sure, have him stay with us. That would be a problem. A BIG problem.
Tristan now looked really, really sad. And bummed. Too bad, he shouldn't have come in the first place. I know it was mean to think of, but it was true. Sorry.
He then started to walk back into the airport, head down, trying to shield his tears, I'm guessing. Before he could open the door, Palmer stopped him. He whispered something into his ear. Tristan suddenly gave him a little itty bitty smile. Tristan wiped away a single tear. Knew it!
I guess it was resolved then?
"Let's go kids," Mr.Gable said.
Palmer walked back to us. Tristan, still a stranger to Beth's parents (good) ran into the airport. I think that means he's going home. Right? We all started walking to the parking lot. Palmer and Bethany had coats on....since when? We found the car. I got in the back with my two friends, buckled up, and left the airport. I was on the window side.
I looked around.
The fun had now begun.
