All I could think about was what was on Earth. "What did that damned planet full of water and rocks do with the Gems?" I had theories, but that's all they were. I needed more information. And who knows more about colonies than Peridots?

So, I headed to the nearest warp pad and went to the Colony F3 - C44, the planet Fleeba-oot, one of the colonies of my esteemed Blue Diamond. Unfortunately, I had never even set foot on that planet and didn't know where the Kindergartens were. But, luckily, I saw a group of amethysts patrolling:

– Amethysts! How long have you emerged? I need to know the location of the nearest Kindergarten.

– It's roughly in the center of this continent.
– Not that way, you nut! It's towards the coast.
– Coast? And since when do Kindergartens sit on sand?

Suddenly, what was supposed to be a simple request for information turned into complete chaos, and I could no longer hear even my own thoughts amid their argument.

– ENOUGH! Can any Gem here give me EXACT information?!

– What's going on here?

– Thank the stars, an Agate! So, I need help with…

– WHY DIDN'T YOU INCOMPETENTS TELL ME THERE WAS A HOWLITE HERE?! WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?!

– Nothing, Agate. He just…

– Please, you must excuse them, they were made in haste during the colonization. But anyway, what do you need?

– I wanted to know where the nearest kindergarten is.

– The closest one is in the southern hemisphere of the planet. You can get there by warp pad.

– Thank you very much.

– Oh, Thank You, my brilliant Howlite!

– You're thanking me… for what?

– For… thanking… me?

– Alright then - I sensed a slight air of flattery but had no time for that.

– Wow, look at the time. I need to go.

– Glad I could help!

– First, I need to speak with a Peridot to get information about colonizations and characteristics of some planets. And why were these amethysts made in such a rush?

– But Peridots weren't made to have that kind of knowledge; they are just technicians in Kindergartens. I suggest you talk to pearl to learn about these things, if you want.

– Talk to… Pearl?

Then I was suddenly in the clouds… could I, Howlite, personally and directly speak with Blue Diamond’s Pearl? To speak with the most beautiful and delicate Pearl that ever came from the Reef? It seemed like too much honor for me, but I was willing to take the risk.

– And how do I do that? Should I speak to Blue Diamond and ask for a direct audience with the Pearl?

– Blue Diamond? No, no haha

– I meant my pearl. You can talk to her about the history of this planet.

– Your Pearl?

– Yes, yes! She's right over there. PEARL COME HERE NOW AND BE USEFUL FOR ONCE!!!

– I'm here, my Agate. What do you need?

– This Howlite wants to know about the history of this planet. About colonization. Tell him everything. Meanwhile, I'll see if the quartzes are doing their jobs, those incompetents can't even be left alone for 2 minutes.

– Greetings, Howlite. Where would you like me to start?

– Hello, Pearl. Could you start from the... beginning?

– From the moment the planet began to be colonized, then?

– Exactly.

– Approximately 7,500 years ago, this rocky planet became the newest target of Blue Diamond…
