Chapter 27

Yoongi was pissed; how could Tae do that to him? Ris was looking at him with wide, scared but curious eyes. "Kitty?"

"Sorry, Princess, okay, what did Daddy Tae tell you?"

"I asked if there was a watermelon on my stomach."

He chuckled a bit, "No watermelon. But do you remember how we planted beans last month, and they started to grow?" She nodded her head quickly as she leaned closer to him. "Well, when a mommy and a daddy fall in love, the daddy plants a seed inside the mommy."

"I have beans in my tummy?" She gasped as her hands went to her stomach. "Am I going to be a beanstalk?"

"No, no, uh." How the fuck does he explain this to a seven-year-old? "Mommies have eggs inside them, and when daddies plant the seeds, the egg grows."

"I'm a chicken?" She squealed excitedly, "That's so cool."

Yoongi groaned and dropped his head into his hands. He needed someone else to help. "You know what, Daddy Joon would really love to explain this to you. Let's go find him."

"Daddy," she huffed, "Tae Tae told me I had a baby in my tummy, but I swear I didn't eat one, and Kitty said that I was going to grow a beanstalk."

Joon's eyes widened as he tried to process what his little Princess was saying. "Well, when a Mommy and a Daddy fall in love," she huffed and looked at him.

With an eye roll, "I know that part. How did the baby get in there?"

He had to try again, "there's a special dance that a Mommy and Daddy have to do for a baby to get in there. When Krissy was here, her and Daddy Hobi and Tae Tae did that dance and because of that, a baby is now growing inside your tummy. That means that you have to be a big girl and help the baby grow so you have more friends to play with."

"This is my friend in here?" She was smiling as she pet her stomach softly.

"It is Princess, but there are pills you will have to take and certain foods you'll need to eat to help the baby be strong and healthy."

She frowned before giving him the cutest little pout, "I'm going to have to eat vegetables, aren't I?"

Joon barked out a laugh, "Yes, Princess, you will. But think of it as the baby eating them and not you."

It seemed to work. She no longer fought with them about what she ate. She would pout before she'd look at Joon and grumble for the baby. The only thing they were worried about was the birth, which would be absolutely traumatic for a seven-year-old. When the contractions started, Krissy came back. She stayed through the birth of Hobi's son and for the first couple of months.

But once little Benson slept more through the night, Krissy left, and Ris returned. It was hard to explain to the little one that her new friend needed to eat every few hours, and she was the only one who could feed him. She was a champ, though; they explained that the baby needed this just like he did when he was in her tummy and needed vegetables.

The trial was going nowhere. The President wouldn't decide because of all the government secrets that Han had. But on the flip side, the country was in an uproar over what the Hans had done to their children. They were outraged that they thought they should be free just because they had suffered enough.

When Benson turned a year old and they discovered she was pregnant with Joon's baby, the news was going crazy. The Hans were murdered; it seemed like the inmates were going to take matters into their own hands. Both of them were stabbed to death, starting with his genitals and her hands. 

The first things to be mutilated were the things that hurt their girls the most, but it was freeing in a way. So right before they went to sing Benson Happy Birthday, Teenie got to come back. She had missed a lot, but they told her why Krissy took over and didn't want her to return until it was fixed. 

Archer was born with a full head of hair and the cutest dimples in the world. He was so loved that Krissy would take over when Teenie was overwhelmed, and Ris would come whenever their babies wanted to really play. 

Poppy was born when Archer turned 3. Jungkook was over the moon about having another girl, and so was Lila. She finally had a little sister to play dress-up with. Echo was born on her sister Poppy's first birthday, and she was a carbon copy of her older sister. They had always joked that Yoongi and Jungkook looked a lot alike, and it showed in their girls.

They all agreed to wait a few years before Tae got her pregnant; the guys still had their practice, and having that many children were a handful. They hired tutors to help with the kids. If Ris had ever taken over while they couldn't get away, there would have been at least another adult there.

It was someone who was trained in Psychology and specialized in DID. So when Echo turned three, and Poppy turned four, they started trying for Tae's baby. Lucian was born a little over two years later, and Ris was over the moon with him.

She would always ask to come out and hold him; they believed it was because he was going to be the last baby, and it was her way of having it a little longer.

"I miss you," Ris sniffled as she sat in front of Natalie's headstone. You saved me, and you reminded me that my Kitty and Bunny were looking for me. I love you." She smiled one last time before Teenie took over. 

"I'll never be able to thank you enough, Natalie. The sacrifice you gave me was too much, but it gave me everything I ever wanted in my life. They love me, all of me, and they treat me better than I could have ever wished for. They gave me the most beautiful babies, and they love them. They don't hit them or hurt them in any way."

She giggled a bit. " In fact, Jimin accidentally cut Lucian's nails too short, and he cried harder than Lucian did. He bawled for an hour before Yoongi could calm him down and Tae could reassure him that Ian was fine."

Teenie stood up and crushed the grass off of her pants. "Let's meet in the next life, okay? Let's have good parents who love and adore us. Let's live long lives watching each other fall in love and have nieces and nephews."

A soft burst of wind tickled around her like a hug, and she smiled, knowing that Natalie heard her and wanted the same thing.
