HEART NEVER LIES ( A Collection of poems )

Sincerely, Yours Truly.

I yearn to whisper your name,

But I can only say it aloud in my dreams,

I am so terrified that if I tell you, I love you, in happiness in pain,

You would reject me, I would go insane,

Such a coward I am, I know.

But how does one person change from get go?

Then there's this thing, that we would never work, in my head I have tried,

I forget that relationships are a test of situations and time.

Oh, how people tell me, express, My darling,  just confess!

What stops me? I do not know,

When I see you, my heart stops beating, for a second or
two,

I wonder, and I know our eyes meet,

But does that mean the same to you as it does to me?

Let's say, I tell you the contents of my heart,

Let's say, I have opened this magnificent treasure box,

Let's say, I was able to express half of what I feel,

I am sure, still, you do not love me.

I am convinced you do not love me,

(This conviction of mine, stems from trauma, and the reasoning is beyond me)

But still, hope beats in my heart, it's so steady,

When I forget you, you make my heart beat again, you revive me,

I knew, love was a tragedy, it would have been better if you had just shot me,

Instead you responded to my love with unending agony,

I resent you
