"Good morning Halmoni" said taehyung who is just wake up from his great slumber.
"Good morning my child how was the sleep? Did you sleep well?". Grandma said looking at her fluffy grandson.
"Yup, maybe" taehyung said not being sure.
"Okay come here I made strawberry flavored pancakes... I know you'll enjoy" Grandma said being all sure.
"These are my favorites I'll enjoy for sure!".
Taehyung said grabbing the plate of pancakes.
They were eating silently when his grandma said "I remember how your father used to eat these strawberry pancakes being all happy just like you.....there's no day i look at you and i don't remember your father!". This time her voice was slow.
"And last time week before their death....your mother was sharing her wish with your father to have a daughter....haha if they had a daughter and if you had a sister she must look like your mother but God had his own plans they they d-died".
The old lady was remembering his son and his happy life she was sharing it with his grandson being happy that she has someone to share her sorrow with but she didn't knew what it was leaving effect on a young boy infront of her.
"You remember how your father used to carry you then make you fly in air haha I used to be scared and used to scold him to leave you...he was mischief like you" Grandmother said remembering that little moments.

"I guess I don't I was so little back then" said taehyung trying to look not interested in this topic.
"I know...I just want you to know that how your parents loved you how they sacrifice their life for you". said grandma taking last bite of her pancake.
"Wait! They loved me? Oh come on.. whom you love you don't leave them...leave them on streets when you've no one when you were just a 6 years old helpless child who had nothing...nothing to eat nothing to wear nowhere to sleep.... The person who loves me in this world right now is you only. And about sacrifice they were the one who left me crying behind with you when I was crying to stop them to not leave me. They didn't sacrifice their life for me it was karma that they died they left me for joy and they died that's it plus I was the one whose life was being sacrificed".

Taehyung's eyes were red remembering his childhood memories how he survived it.
"Son! It's not like how you think it's totally different from what you think you can't say like this when you don't know the whole thing-" Grandma was being cutted off when she was trying to tell him what was the truth.
"I know everything from the start till the end don't try to tell me the fake stories don't excuse them infront of me" taehyung said pointing his index on the table.
"Son look who you are right now is because of them if they didn't sacrificed themselves then you even can't be alive. They prayed for you from heaven" his grandmother was still trying to make him understand.
"Oh woah I'm what I'm because of them? Are you alright I hold myself when I was falling down...I myself carried my all sorrows" taehyung said pointing his index finger on his chest.
"And about pray! I don't believe at that thing....what is done is because of our struggle and works Halmoni saying this that "it's because of someone's prayers" is equal to pour water In someone's battle it's like you are giving credit to someone else"
Taehyung said leaving the plate behind and went to his room.
"Ahh...it's okay he'll gonna know this all when the time came". Grandma said carrying the plates to sink.

On the other hand taehyung in his room is walking here and there being perplexed.
"I should fresh up and go to explore the village" taehyung said to himself to ignore the thoughts he had running into his mind.
"I'm going out for sometime maybe I'll be late.... I'll explore the village". Taehyung said loudly from usual.
"Oh okay dear and don't forget to eat okay take care". Grandma kissed his forehead and bid him good bye.

Taehyung was thinking her reaction was so normal so usual it doesn't seemed like they were arguing on something an hour before.

______________

Tae spent the morning exploring the village, feeling a sense of freedom and joy he hadn't experienced in a long time. He wandered through the bustling market, taking in the vibrant colors and lively atmosphere. He sampled local delicacies, laughed with the friendly vendors, and even tried his hand at traditional crafts. .He then strolled through the rice fields, feeling the warm sun on his face and the gentle breeze in his hair.
