the weekend went by quickly too quickly even, and before you knew it, you were already on your way to school with sonia. thankfully, she wasn't sick anymore, meaning lunch wouldn't be as dreadful as it was on friday.

"oh yeah, you know how last monday i had to go to some practice with the team?" sonia started, pausing as she waited for you to reply.

you nodded in response, "what? did you murder someone?"

"no.. i was close though," she chuckled.

"what happened then?" you asked.

"basically, they were playing against that school... the one from tokyo with the red sports uniform. i don't remember what it was called. okay— doesn't matter.. there was this fine ass guy on their team, i'd lowkey let him hit." she stated. she looked like she was going through the five stages of grief but in a good way.

"what was his name?" you asked, curious about your best friend's new obsession.

"girl.. i wish i could tell you but i don't remember. he had like.. black hair, and he was so tall."

"your type is literally just tall emos..."

"he wasn't emo, i think."

you giggled and shook your head at her reply.

the two of you continued talking until you got to school. you both went inside and to the hallway of the second floor.

"fuck me.. i have maths firsy," you sighed loudly. you hated maths with everything in you.

sonia laughed before speaking up, "couldn't be me."

after a while, you both split up as you heard the bell ring, heading to your classrooms. once you got to yours, you immediately went in.

the only good thing about maths was your seat. it wasn't completely at the back — second to last row — and beside a window. your seatmate rarely ever came in either, meaning you had the whole table for yourself.

the only disadvantage of your seat was the two people who sat behind you.

more like one of them, the other was fine.

as you were getting your things out, you heard a deep voice coming your way.

"you're already here?" osamu asked, half shocked at the sight in front of him. the dark haired male next to him had his eyes glued to his phone. he completely dismissed your existence.

"uh-huh... me 'nd sonia walked together today," you replied, still taking your stationary and books out of your bag.

"oh she's feeling better now?" he questioned as he sat down in his seat. suna sat next to him, still unfazed.

"yeah—" you were cut off by the teacher saying that she'd be starting the lesson now, even if not everyone was there yet.

one hour thirty of your 'favourite' subject. yay!!!!

around twenty minutes into the lesson, the teacher left your class for a while. she urged you to do work on your own until she came back.
