My love,
There aren't enough words in the dictionary to truly describe how I feel about you. There aren't enough years in a lifetime to fabricate poems that capture how beautiful you are and how special you make me feel.
Fortunately, I've been blessed to live in a time that comes with an abundant amount of media designed to do just that.
Though love songs will never perfectly encapsulate the roller-coaster of emotions I feel when I'm around you, they come closer than any other form of media can or ever will.
I mean, really, it's perplexing. To think that someone who I've never met or seen, someone who has a completely different life than mine, someone with completely different emotions and opinions, can perfectly describe how my heart aches for you within a singular song.
Somehow, every lyric describes bits about you like they've seen you for themselves, like they've seen your grace and elegance and can't seem to look away. Somehow, it's like each and every one of them can read my mind, and can see you as I do.
I sit and listen as they paint a picture of you.
Your eyes glow, like they were chipped directly off of a sunset at its peak on the horizon. Your hair waves and curls in the front, framing your face like a work of art, one only deserving of a place in the center of the Louvre for all to gaze at its elegance. Your body, soft and delicate, to be treated gingerly and with the utmost care. Your petite hands, to hold my heart and grab my attention.
You.
You are... astonishing. Passionate, sweet, and full of emotion. A sight for sore eyes, I could lose myself in yours.
Oh, how I wish we could dance to these songs.
Hand in hand, swaying in the light of the moon and the stars. The entrancing melody like a whisper in the wind as I hold you close. The moment would seem surreal. Despite the dim lights, I would still be able to look into your eyes and see the warm glow of sunsets. I would hold you close, our bodies pressing together delicately. I would lay my head down on your chest and hear your steady heartbeat, a melody of its own. A moment that would seem to last forever as we swing with the rhythm of the music.
I could search the world, listen to every piece of music I can possibly find, and yet, none of it will ever come close to the the natural aria produced by your voice.
Truly, your voice is the greatest love song I will ever come to know.
I could listen patiently as you speak of whatever is on your mind, simply enjoying the cadence in your voice. If the world ever fell destitute of music, the melody of your voice and the beat of my heart as it cries and aches for you would surely make up for it.
Together we'd create symphonies, ballads of our love. You alone could create the most enchanting chorus without a thought.
Your voice is my favorite sound, and the most authentic love song I will ever know.
♫
"Your voice keeps playing inside my head. Like a song I can't get out, it repeats."
