When you awake the next morning – you expect to see the familiar ceiling of your apartment back in the city. No such occurrence is on the cards. The high ambient temperature of the early morning makes it obvious before you ever open your eyes that you're still on the island. You get dressed, wander over into the kitchen and eat some of the leftover food from the welcome basket for breakfast.

After an hour of exploring the house and mulling over interior decoration ideas to make it livelier, there's a knock at the door.

"Master, are you awake?"

You open the door and find Isabelle standing there with a smile.

"You know, I think 'Owner' sounds better than Master."

Isabelle's brow furrows, "Really? I can call you Owner too if you'd like."

"Well, the ideal solution would be to use my real name-"

Isabelle cuts you off, "Oh! I showed Miss Rose all of the plots that you made available yesterday and asked for her preference. She's selected one of those beachside areas. She loves the idea of getting to wake up in the morning and walk directly onto the sand."

"Is she here already?"

"No, no. I simply contacted her and sent images of each location! We won't be welcoming her until her house is constructed."

Not that building a house takes very long with Isabelle's magical abilities...

"By the way – I finished the first draft of the design for the restaurant. Take a look!"

Isabelle hands you a blueprint, which you unfurl to reveal the floorplan and exterior design of the building. It's a relatively modest hut-style building with a straw roof, wooden construction and plenty of open spaces to allow the wind to roll through. There are a dozen circular tables laid out in the main dining area that look out onto the beach. At the back end of the hut is a large kitchen with everything you would need to make any food you desire.

"Looks good."

"Even better, it doubles up to serve as an event space for things like karaoke and dancing. We can also hand out raw ingredients so that the residents can use their own kitchens to make what they like when the restaurant isn't serving."

"But we're going to move that to a store eventually."

"Yep! A store that sells everything the essentials, like food and other household items. We can also expand the shopping area to sell clothes and furniture eventually too. The only thing we need is a good spot to build the developed area of the island. This will be where the biggest projects go."

Some areas already come to mind for your little downtown area. It'll take a lot of work to remove the trees, pave the pathways and get everything set up. You have no idea how far Isabelle's powers of construction extend. Building an entire house within the hour seems to be no big deal, but perhaps these larger common areas will demand more resources and time.

"Let's go for a walk."

You lead Isabelle down the winding path and through the tropical forest that surrounds the base of the hill. Along the way, you spy a particular feline lady scavenging through the underbrush away from the beaten path.

"Morning Y'shtola."

The mage pokes her head out from the bushes and smiles wryly, "A very good morning to you too. You've caught me at a rather awkward time."

Y'shtola has a small wicker basket filled with various plants and items, including discarded twigs and branches that she can turn into useful magical tools.
