Hopeful- Ollie Bearman love story

Part 8

We walk hand in hand back into the house, we were probably the last ones to finish the track but right now it didn't matter. I was happy with millie by my side but a weird feel of nerves was present in me when we got to the others.

They were all watching TV, but Dino immediately raised up when he saw us together. His eyes landed on our interlocked hands and they almost popped out of his head.

-NO WAY!
-calm down dino! Millie said sarcastically rolling her eyes.
-what did you do to my millie? He pointed his finger at me. Did you blackmail her? He looked at me questioning.
-ok now really, how much did he pay you? He looked serious at millie. Cause this is jot my millie.
-i am dino, honestly it just sort of happened. She smiled, like genuinely.

At the end of the night we were already all news, every driver congratulated us and told us they knew it was coming, apparently it was so obvious. Me and millie talked about what we will do once the training camp was over, and we decided we will keep it private from the rest of the world but as long as our friends and family know we are happy. Unfortunately we still had 3 days left of camp so my first date with her had to wait a bit longer than i would have wanted, but better late than never.

On the third and final night i decided to give dino a break and give him my bed in the boys room since he was sharing a room with millie not to let her sleep with someone else. I knocked at their door...

-guys?
-what do you want?! Dino answered annoyed.
-do you want to switch? The boys are having a blast in the room and i am tired, i know you want to stay with the boys. I smiled knowing it would be easy to convince him.
-ollie, i know you. You just had to say you wanted to sleep with millie and i would have accepted. I will go know. He smiled sincerely.
-thank you mate, you are the best.

I lay down in bed next to millie who was asleep.

-mmm dino why are you moving so much?! She said.
-i am not dino babe. I laughed
-ollie? She said with a hint of excitement her voice but still with her eyes closed.
-yeah, go back to sleep. I whispered at her while snuggling next to her.
-ok, she half whispered and half sighed.

Surely after i fall asleep with a smile on my face.
